You can walk to the counter of Hertz - Brisbane Airport car hire.

Please note: all domestic pick ups are from Hertz car park situated on level 1 of Domestic carpark building. Directions from the terminals: Walk out of the terminal building, proceed onto the sky-walk and across towards to the carpark building, take the lift down to level 1. You must provide a flight number when picking up a vehicle at Brisbane Airport. If a valid flight number is not present, the vehicle will be ready at the DOMESTIC terminal.

Drop-off Instructions

Please return the car to designated parking lot of the international terminal and return the key to the branch. Please pay attention to the sign "Car Return" when you enter into the parking lot and drive the car into the corresponding lane according to the sign.

    We booked the car online with a pick-up time of 1 PM and a return time of 1 PM two days later. However, we actually picked up the car at 10:30 AM. They charged us for three days without communicating this beforehand or reminding us whether it was two days or three days and whether the return time needed to be adjusted. As a result, we returned the car at 11 AM, only a little over half an hour late, but we were charged for three days. The main issue was the lack of any reminders or notifications, which left us very dissatisfied.

    Hertz is good except for being expensive. Renting an Audi Q5 for 3 days cost 5000. On the spot, I requested an upgrade, and for an additional 30 AUD per day, I upgraded to a Q5. However, the rental company advised that the insurance bought through QEEQ would require upfront payment. To avoid any hassle, I ultimately purchased insurance from Hertz for peace of mind. Additionally, it feels a bit like forced consumption that QEEQ makes you buy basic insurance with every package.
