BRISBANE AIRPORT CAR RENTAL REVIEWS

Call centre staffed in Philippines - no idea of local operation in Brisbane or vehicles etc... reluctant to transfer to local office. Call centre advised that desk would be open til midnight as my flight was delayed. However internaltional desk was not staffed and had to go all the way to domestic terminal to collect car which added over 60mins. Wish I was told this could happen in advance.

Very easy pickup, regular shuttle buses.

Brilliant, we have since booked again for hire in Sydney which was flawless as well.

Ace Rental staff in Brisbane were extremely quick and efficient and we were ready to go within 5 mins of arriving. They also give essential advice about how to get set up for auto payment of road tolls. Dropping of the car in Sydney was equally efficient and we were all done within 6 mins of arrival. The car was spotlessly clean when we picked it up, inside and out. I cannot fault Ace Rental. Excellent service.

Good, clean, economical Skoda. Check-in and check-out was efficient. Staff were polite and friendly. I would definitely use Alamo on my next trip.

Pickup would have been less but my licence needed to be renewed. That was my bad the staff there were very patient

Pick up and drop off were smooth. Had to wait a little while at the airport do be picked up, but not too long. The little MG was adequate for my purposes, but I would not rush out and buy one. Could definitely tell MG has been taken over by chinese...

The only negatives: Car ordered was not available so was given a supposed upgrade but the car was smaller, but better equipped- it did the job. Slow getting processed at pick up. Staff great. Drop off quick

Booking system good. I needed to delay my pick up by 24 hours, but was unable to delay drop off by 24 hours to keep contract period the same. Loss of days hire. Customer service was in Western US- I was in Australia so not ideal for resolving above mentioned issue.

Pickup - was no walk around car to check for bumps and scratches before I picked up. that made me nervous as there were a few notable bumps and dents on it that I took photos of in case they were blamed on me. Also, I accidentally arrived an hour early for pick up and was told to come back in an hour rather than just serve me. Drop off was great, quick and easy with a very personable chap at counter.

1. The store overcharged with no explanation, and the issue has not been resolved. 2. A week after returning the car, the store emailed me claiming I hadn't returned the car, and threatened to call the police.

There were only two staff members, and I had to wait in line for ages. There was a young woman who gave me a sour face when she heard I had bought insurance elsewhere.
