The experience was terrible. The charge was double what was quoted on easyrentcars. The electric car would not charge as europcar gave us a charging card that did not work. They did not pick up the phone for hours to assist us; leaving us stranded in Portugal. Their response when the issue was raised was abysmal.

I had to call AUTORENT to inform them that our flight has been delayed, but nobody picked up the phone at the two numbers writen on the document given. I had to look for another number on the internet plateform to reach AUTORENT.

Booked a fiat 500l but on arrival got told all they had was a fiat panda because of this struggled to get suitcases in but luckily went with friends and they managed to get my suitcases in there car. Surprice wasn't bothered about this though I had booked a larger vehicle. I only excepted the fiat panda due to having 3 children with me and it being late at night. Would never hire another car from them!!

There was no one to collect us at the airport to take us to the hire car despite having been given our flight number. Airport information had no idea where to meet the driver and we were directed to several incorrect locations.

They have outrageous fees and add ons and you get stuck with last minute.

Alors que le plafond international de prélèvement d'une carte visa est de 2400€;;;cherchez l'erreur! Au comptoir un dimanche midi face à une personne qui refuse de parler un minimum anglais et qui vous propose comme seule solution le paiement de leur assurance magique qui permet de baisser considérablement le prix de la caution à 400€. Le prix de départ de 44,90 € imbattable s'est transformé à 190€ ce qui pour le coup faisait cher pour les prestations offertes (obligation de prendre une navette pour prendre la voiture)!! Le budget vacances s'est vu fortement réduit!

I was expecting to rent a Mercedes Vito but I was disappointed when we were given a Renault minibus not what I had paid for. And the van was not in great condition.

Great car, price and service. The bad reviews on here are from people who didn’t do their research up front. If you don’t buy Surprice insurance, they will require a hold of a couple thousand euros on your credit card. They will charge extra for “off-hours” pickup/drop. Understand these conditions and you won’t find a better deal in Faro.

Will never use them again after we had to pay extra £100 for5 day rental. Best Deal was extra £35 for 5 days with car hire only costing £85 in total in February

Une arnaque, ils rajoutent des frais exorbitants à l’arriver Pour récupérer la voiture. ils arnaquent les personnes en rajoutant frais sur frais, en disant que sans payer ses frais nous n’aurons pas de possibilité de récupérer notre véhicule. C’est une honte.

the car was perfect for the two of us, we were pleased with it for a small car very comfortable, it was not clean inside or out, apart from that happy with the car, the only issue I have is the drop off was not clear on my booking papers it said drop off at airport the shuttle driver said to park the car at car park 1 and pointed out where to park, it was not clear on papers from rental desk where to return car it gave a map of location but no return details, this needs to be made clearer, we would use this company again.

dont know about the price drop but were happy with the price paid, booking was easy, will use this site again, thankyou

Quite a distance from airport but pick up service excellent. No waiting till shuttle bus full.

Comparison site I used indicated senior driver surcharge included. After booking I received email to advise a charge of 5 Euros per day would be added on collection. After your agent investigated and advised there was a mistake on the comparison site I decided to accept the charge as I wished to avoid the hassle of finding an alternative supplier less than 2 days before travel. Still a good price.

Very friendly, helpful shuttle bus drivers, lovely friendly guy at the desk, no fuss, no trying to sell extras. Good straightforward service

All easy

Had booked full to full and were told to bring back at same level as if a difference, would be charged a high amount - petrol station across the road!!!! Very high excess charge out with hours - 8pm 35 euros. On checking in, very unfriendly and unhelpful. Would have been nice to see a smile and shown how to operate the car. On the plus side -automatic and a hybrid!

Easy booking and good communication.

The car exceeded my expectations as it was upgraded for free. Staff was very friendly & helpful. The only minus was the waiting time for the shuttle car at the pick-up meeting point. Also, it wasn’t possible to get through to the reception to find our how long was the waiting time.

All went fine.

It wasn’t obvious that Keddy and Europcar were the same company, but fortunately I knew this from reading the reviews. However, I still found the instructions lacking. Was very happy with the vehicle for the price.

After we couldn't get the BMW, the counter staff helped us to get the car we wanted.

Really easy booking process.

Be careful of added expenses they will try to add. On collection there was a long queue and the staff were in no hurry so it took over an hour. Also be careful of the toll roads in Portugal, Goldcar give you very little info on this on collection. My car had an error light on, I told them about it but they didn’t seem to care.
