I had to wait for 1 hour even though I had a reservation. Finally, they completely forgot about me, and there was one more person waiting. When it was my turn, I presented my credit card, driver's license (with the rental company’s translation certification). After checking the order, they said OK, but after verifying the license, they said it was not acceptable because it was not issued by the International Alliance. So, after waiting for so long, it was still a NO. Why didn't they inform me earlier? Why did the rental company provide an invalid certification? Isn't this just playing with people?

They added extra insurance during pickup, and the staff didn't explain it. I only found out during dropoff that I paid over a hundred dollars more.

I was disappointed that the location had no sedans even though my reservation was confirmed. I was then assigned a pickup truck, but since I was there for a funeral that wouldn't work so they assigned me a van because vans were all that was left. The vehicle was okay, but the odor in the van was not pleasant. I did not complain since it was late and I was just happy to get started for the hotel. My bill should be $275.79 and on my temporary transactions I see a pending bill for $475.79. If it doesn't correct wen fully posted I will be filing a complaint. Absolutely brilliant, and a bargain price for a one way rental - HOWEVER, the whole experience was ruined afterwards. I checked my bill I was handed when I got home and noticed that I'd been charged for ⅛th tank of fuel. The thing was the the woman who checked it in (a third party agent, not budget) didn't even check the fuel gauge. She handed me the receipt and said that's $56. I agreed to walked off. When I looked later it was for $83 - and there was a refuelling charge. I'd literally just filled it up before dropping off at the nearest gas station. I have all the receipts to prove it. A little bit of Googling it when I got home, shows this is a common scam. The check-in agents (as I said third party company) are on commission for extras such as gas tanks not filled. Most customers are dropping off and getting on a plane so won't look at the receipt, especially when the agent quotes the original price. Luckily (?) I'm going back there on Thursday so will be taking it up with the manager. It won't stop me renting from Budget again if the price is right but I'll be very careful when handing back.
