This local Italian car rental company is quite easygoing, no upselling at all. Whatever you book is what you get. I had to request to add full insurance myself. The car rental point at Florence train station has separate areas for paperwork and car pickup. It takes about five minutes to walk from one to the other. The best part is that the car pickup point is in a garage outside the ZTL zone, which is very convenient! After completing the paperwork, walk over and the car is ready. There are no staff members giving instructions, very easygoing! Check the car yourself and contact staff if there are any issues.
I rented an Audi Q5 but got a Citroën model I had never heard of; they insisted it was a comparable model. The fuel cap was broken, the car was dirty and fairly old. I couldn't fill the gas tank completely when returning the car, which was odd. This was my worst car rental experience; I will avoid small companies in the future.
I dropped my earphones in the car, and they refused to return them. The service attitude during pickup and drop-off was poor; there was impatience due to the language barrier. They push their insurance in the store, and it's awkward if you refuse.
The company is very popular. Other car rental counters were very empty, but there was a line at Sicily's counter. The staff displayed typical Italian efficiency - slow and unhurried. It took two hours to complete the process, but they didn't try to upsell any insurance, which was nice. However, when picking up the car, I found out they gave me a manual car, and I had to go back downstairs to exchange it. The staff weren't apologetic at all and even asked if I didn't know how to drive a manual. Overall, the cost-performance ratio was okay.

The car was nice, though it had some outer cosmetic damage from the previous rides. Didn't mind it, because everything was functional and the price was great. The rental process was easy, but you have to keep in mind that there are too many people renting the car at Milano Airport - I was 17th in line and with the 4 counters it took about an hour. The only big gripe I have - I forgot my wallet with driving license in the car and though I did call and wrote an email when I found it missing 10 hours later in another country I'm still waiting for the answer to my request! They said they are currently too busy to look for it and it's been 18 hours.

I was reluctant first to try the service because I always used another famous site, but the deals I've found here were too tempting. And it even got better when the Price Protection kicked in. A week before the date I got warning that the price was down and I managed to rebook the car paying 60% less. This is an exceptional service, thank you!
