CAR RENTAL REVIEWS ON GREEN MOTION IN LONDON

The car we had booked was unavailable so we were upgraded to an SUV which was unsuitable for our needs being too wide. Other customers were also complaining when we arrived and we were fobbed off by being told this is what to expect from budget car hires. The body work was badly scratched.

Allow extra time to pick up your vehicle the office is tiny and busy. I had to wait outside when I first got there as it was jam packed. You when have to walk to the other side of the hotel to collect your car.

The shuttle service bus stop at Heathrow terminal 5 is incorrectly advised on the documents received when booked. It states bus stop 16 for H51 but it’s actually 17

Counter staff put too much pressure on customers by scare mongering to buy their additional insurance.

I have written separately to Green Motion. I would NEVER use them again and will be recommending to any and everybody the same. The rental prices are low but they con you out of ridiculous sums of money for so called repairs. These people are bad

There is a concern on the rental with Green Motion which I have taken up with the rental company.

Green motion do not accept American Express cards. Counter people are not prepare to deal with people. I hired a passat and end up with a Citroen C3.

Awful liar. The counter staff cheated my husband by forcing him to buy many items which she did not mention and end up paying $2600 more, otherwise she would not let my husband take the car despite the fact that I paid the rental.

Good value for vehicle upgrade

Fiat 500 was perfect size and very economical in fuel. Clean and pleasure to drive. The only improvement could be for those who renting on weekly basis is to roll deposit from one booking into another instead of taking new deposit and re registering again.

I have given feedback to Green motion, to tell them that their minibus driver was exemplary and a credit to their organisation.

Horrible Staff. No help. Long queues of people not being helped and hanging around.

The young lady seemed to be only interested in getting more money for extras not in true customer service. I had to ask her to repeat things as her English left a lot to be desired. The car when it arrived had not had a very good valet.

Excellent value for monety

Could not find booking office, when did find they were looking £1250 in cash as deposit case of damages as I did not have this I give £150 deposit plus paid extra £36 per day plus extra £45 to change drive name. Got out to car was giving it in the red and flashing as petrol was so low was stressed as didn't know way to find a garage at this stage and my autism son was having panic attack.. Also returned car tuesday and still awaiting deposit to be rein burst into my account!!

The car I booked and requested was not available which is always the biggest problem so I had to pay extra to upgrade the vehicle. as the one being provided in the same category was terrible

they nearly force us to buy full cover insurance (which is expensive). when I said I had third party insurance they said it was worthless as companies never pay the deposit back. then they added that any minor scratch would mean I'd pay full deposit, and reiterated this several times, kind of made it sound like they were hunting for it.

Agent was not able to honour the price agreed. He insisted I paid for additional insurance I did not want or need as I have a credit card that covers car insurance. He repeated refused to accept my position. He just said he could not let me have car without an extra insurance payment that was four times the cost of the rental itself. The only choice he gave me was to take it or walk away with no car. I shall never book with them again unless this issue is explained properly.

The guy was helpful especially when showing me round the car. The car was perfect for the journey I had to make.

Didn’t accept AMEX for deposit and not clear they didn’t.
