    Like: We didn't have to wait in line, either for pickup or drop off. The price of the rental was very reasonable. We were given a free upgrade to a larger yet still fuel efficient vehicle, and the car had GPS, which would have cost us substantially more than the total price of the rental if we had to pay for it.
    Dislike: Although you can pick up or drop off your car between 06:00 and 22:00 at their Heathrow Airport location, you can only call them (or any other Green Motion office) between 09:00 and 17:00. Also, we had to pay 9 pounds each for my wife and me to ride the Hoppa Bus from Heathrow to Green Motion and back again. While the car rental broker company, EasyRent, said that we would not be reimbursed for this fee, the supplier, Green Motion, said that we would, and we have not yet resolved this issue.

    Agent was not able to honour the price agreed. He insisted I paid for additional insurance I did not want or need as I have a credit card that covers car insurance. He repeated refused to accept my position. He just said he could not let me have car without an extra insurance payment that was four times the cost of the rental itself. The only choice he gave me was to take it or walk away with no car. I shall never book with them again unless this issue is explained properly.

    It took a long time to pickup the car at customer service. Main delay was due to my CDW status. I was informed that when I booked via Easyrentcars I had not sign any Collision Damage Waiver and was asked to pay for the additional insurance. This was a shock to me as my credit card (Visa) had always covered my CDW and I have never had any problems with booking cars before. Green Motion informed me that my booking via Easyrentcars required Collision Damage insurance as there was no WAIVER. I had to resolve this dispute with the manager who reluctantly provided me with a waiver form to fill out and I avoided the additional CD insurance costs. My suggestion would be for Easyrentcars to clarify the CDW status on the booking screen to avoid any confusion with the rental company even though the included basic insurance indicates Collision Damage Waiver, Theft Waiver and Third Party Liability protection.

    I felt that Green Motion used a VERY slow collection process to 'intimidate' customers into taking comprehensive insurance. The 'information' video went on and on and on about how long it would take to find and note every mark on the car before you drove off on it - with the implicit message being that if you didn't do this you would definitely be charged for all marks on return of the vehicle. In addition to this, if you didn't take comprehensive insurance, the deposit taken from your credit card was massively more.

    We were running late and needed to contact Green motion. They did not answer their phone or respond to emails. In the end we were able to contact Easyrent cars and both Lisa and Tania were amazing. I suggest you get additional staff to answer the phone to avoid unnecessary anxiety of there are mishaps with collection. When we did arrive, the staff at Greemotion were amazing, and there is no way they could have answered the phone as they were way too busy.

I waited nearly 2.5 hours after coming 30 mins early due to reading the reviews about the wait time,I ending up having to reschedule a business meeting. Customer service from one of the customer advisor was nothing less than disgusting an blatantly racist! If you aren't of south asian decent dont bother wasting you time or money. I wish I could remember his name I’m writing this reviews months later.He called south asia man that was behind me forward I pointed out I had been waiting and he then refused to serve me as I had raised my voice, I said I know the reason why he didnt want to serve me he then said you would serve me clearly embarrassed by my intelligence, hos coworker even told him to chill because i would speak to the manager to which he replied he doesnt care!At this point he coworker said he would serve me once he had finished with his customer, the rude one then left to have a cigarettes leaving waiting customers.     1. Extremely long wait to pick up car. More than 90 mins. Staff don't seem interested in processing the customers quicker. 2. Uncomfortable waiting area with no seats. I had a family of 4 with 2 young children just left to hang around the road side of the hotel drive thru, in the cold, for 90 mins. 3. Service staff tried to charge me more for the car. Very different from the fee listed on the email from Easyrentcars.com. Tried to give me reasons as to why he should charge me more until i showed him the email from your side that states the exact amount i was supposed to pay. 4. Car return: Person checking the car was unfriendly and picked on areas which were not previously recorded on the handover list when i drove the car off. When i tried to reason, he said someone from the customer service team will contact me. 5. I just saw thousands of dollars charged on my credit card statement for damages with NO communication on what these charges are. Very unprofessional of the car rental company and leaves a very sour after taste for the customer. You guys need to put a warning somewhere for customers trying the service for the first time and unknowingly get sucked in due to the low charges advertised on your site. These negative experiences brings your reputation down together with the car rental company.

    Green Motion is trapping customer without optional insurance to deduct full deposit of GBP 1,205 by whatever reason. I saw another customer accused for a hairy like scratch only can be seen with a torch illumination when I lined up for pickup. When I picking up the car, their staff never go for car checking claimed due to raining. He just told me to check myself. However, due to raining and early morning at 7am, it is difficult to check clearly but only have to drive as is. But, found a scratch at the bottom later. When the car returned, their staff insisted the damage was by me. But, I explained it wasn't and found that after the car dried few days later. Then, their staff claimed told me there is 24 hours extension for me to check the car and report damage if any. However, it never happened in fact. We argued but he insisted nothing he could do. Asked me to write down the explanation at the return document and sign. He said their CS will contact me to understand. If compensation still need, there will be a repair cost assessment to confirm the money need to deduct from the deposit. However, my credit card statement shown the deposit was deducted in FULL before any repair cost assessment was received and confirmed. This is completely a scam.

    Green Motion is generally very good, but the Heathrow branch is located at the Holiday Inn which is currently being used as an asylum seekers holding area by the government and feels very insecure. Be aware that the depot does NOT open at 06:00 as reported by Qeeq and Green Motion's website but at 07:00. Note also that there is no toilet on site and no shuttle service to/from the airport apart from the hotel Hoppa bus service which is infrequent.

    At the car rental counter, they told me the trunk of the originally booked Tiguan was small and suggested I get a CRV diesel instead as it had a larger trunk and was more fuel-efficient. They mentioned there was a brand-new car available, so I paid an extra 300 pounds to switch. However, when I went to the parking lot to pick up the car, they said there were no CRVs left and gave me a Volvo V70 that had already been driven over 20,000 km. Being away from home and short on time, I decided to go with it. Overall, it was just okay, maybe that's typical for a small company.

    1. The reception told me that a petrol version car could only go 200 miles on a full tank, whereas a diesel one could go 500 miles. They persuaded me to upgrade to diesel for 60 Euros. When I got to the parking lot, the staff handed me a beat-up 9-seater Volkswagen diesel. I said I had chosen a Mercedes, but they told me that was the only car available in the same class. I was scammed out of 60 Euros. The fuel cap of this car was broken, and it wouldn't close properly. Throughout my trip, many kind locals tried to warn me in various ways, including making me pull over on the highway. 2. Upon returning the car, I was told that I would be charged extra for exceeding 100 miles per day, which was not mentioned during the rental process. Luckily, I had a Chinese friend from the UK with me, and the staff waived the fee.

    1. Constantly pushing insurance sales. 2. Gave the car with no fuel, only 1/6 left, but sneakily wrote 1/4 on the form. 3. When returning the car, they noticed I had no insurance and deliberately made two new scratches, forcing me to pay £388. I checked the car an hour before returning it and found no issues. During the inspection, the staff didn't inspect the car with me. There was no one to reason with when the problem occurred. 4. This company feels very unprofessional. Though the prices are cheap, they profit by upselling and tricking customers. Another customer at the car pick-up was scammed out of over £500 for scratches because they didn’t buy insurance.

    The location is quite far from the airport, with the shuttle bus coming only every 45 minutes. During our trip, we were rear-ended by another vehicle, but couldn't reach the rental company's helpline, so we had to go to a nearby rental office. Thankfully, a Chinese-speaking customer service rep helped us with the insurance claim. We had to fill out the claim form online, and again when returning the car. The insurance company's website was very poor, and any submission error meant starting over. We ended up filling out the form numerous times! Though the price wasn't bad, overall, I can only say it was average.

    We were charged an extra £200 for some rebooking fee because we arrived two hours late to pick up the car. Our friends, who were also two hours late but booked with a different company, didn't have to pay this fee. This rental company doesn't care about customers' interests, and their service is very average and impersonal. I've never encountered such problems renting cars in the USA and Spain. It's so unfair! What would have happened if we didn't pick up the car that day? This kind of unfair clause from the rental company is just uncomfortable and not good service. In the future, I'll book directly with the rental company instead!

    Very bad experience. Despite having prepaid the full rental fee, they rented out my reserved Mercedes to someone else because I arrived later than planned. They made me pay over 200 pounds more for a Volkswagen instead. Our group of six arrived late at night and had to continue our journey, so we had to accept it. Thankfully, with the assistance of the rental platform after returning to China, it took a month of negotiations with the UK car rental company to recover our loss.

    My rental company was Green Motion, not Carnect. The car was good, a Korean make. I originally booked a Volkswagen Golf, but they gave me the Korean car instead. This car might be more advanced than the Volkswagen Golf, making it easier to drive and more comfortable to ride in. Many roads in the UK are narrow, and its lane departure warning system was very useful for those of us not used to driving on the left. Additionally, Green Motion's pick-up and drop-off procedures were convenient, and the staff's service attitude was good.

    I waited in line for almost two and a half hours, and then the process took another two hours. They asked all sorts of personal questions, like my job and home address, which I've never experienced in all my years of renting cars. The efficiency was low, and they even told me to inspect the car by myself. They said if there's an issue, come back to me. It was really frustrating.

    Green Motion is a scam company. We rented a car at London's airport in the UK, and already purchased insurance on a domestic rental website. However, when picking up the car, they insisted that our insurance didn't count and required us to buy their insurance. They said if we didn't, even a 1 cm scratch would cost us 800 pounds. We had no choice but to be ripped off by Green Motion. It didn't stop there. We did get a speeding ticket while driving in Liverpool. Green Motion emailed us and sent the police ticket, stating they don't care about the police fines, but they charge a 68-pound administration fee. We had to pay. After paying the admin fee, the police emailed us the next day asking for a 100-pound fine, which we paid. That was somewhat normal, but a month later, Green Motion took another 68 pounds from our credit card. We emailed them asking why, and they stated it was for a second fine, although there was no evidence or police ticket. After that, we had to cancel our credit card to prevent further unauthorized charges from Green Motion. This company is a total scam. We'll never rent from them again.

    We were caught driving in a bus lane by a traffic camera, and the road authority emailed GREENMOTION to pay a fine. GREENMOTION tried to charge me double with a late fee, thinking I didn't understand English. After I argued via email, they finally charged me the minimum fine.

    This is a fraudulent company that extorts money. When returning the car, they nitpicked to find damage that was not visible at all and insisted there was damage. Do not choose this company! They charge a deposit of over £1200 when renting, and then shamelessly deduct over £600 upon return. Other renters returning cars simultaneously were also charged. But because they were rushing for flights and were abroad, they all endured it. Fellow countrymen, do not rent from this company, they specifically target Chinese people. Scammers!

    Queued for nearly half an hour. They strongly pushed insurance on us. Since it was our first time driving in the UK, we were a bit worried, so we ended up paying more than three times the price for it... Later, we realized it was completely unnecessary, as UK drivers are very courteous. Just be careful and you really don't need the insurance.

    We booked a Mercedes Vito but were given a Fiat. Later, we upgraded to an automatic Volkswagen Transporter for 7 people. The rental company demanded an exorbitant upgrade fee of 2000 pounds (an extra 190 pounds per day!) which was even more expensive than other companies' rental fees for a 9-seater automatic at the same time! However, since we had already paid for the manual car, we had to upgrade with them... The vehicle already had several scratches, but they weren't all recorded on the inspection sheet. When returning the car, the company charged us an additional 450 pounds for a minor scratch on the roof. It feels like this company exploits customers to claim insurance. Will never use this company again!

    If you didn't purchase full insurance from the store, you'll likely be blamed for tire and glass issues when returning the car. When picking up the car, its condition was mediocre with many scratches. I took photos for a long time but didn't get clear pictures of the glass and tires, and was ultimately forced to accept the claim of damage when returning the car.

    I will NEVER use this company again. Very rude at the pick up desk. Told me i had to buy EXTRA insurance..( i had AXA coverage to 30k...was told it had to be 35k or they wouldn't give me the car!!...I've used AXA with Budget, Avis & SixT with no problem) cost me 72pounds ($100) more. Don't think you are saving money with this company...they are SCAM artists!!!...STAY AWAY !!!
