The car we reserved was unavailable so we got an upgrade to a Kia sportage. The car was quite scratched up on the exterior and the seats inside were dirty and stained . It had 57K miles on it . The car drove well , seemingly had no mechanical issues and was surprisingly comfortable for a compact SUV of that price range. I didn't mind the age or mileage , because I didn't pay for an expensive vehicle , but I would have expected a cleaner one, I will try them again.
It was a terrible experience .. I WILL NEVER use this company again... Nor your service! I thought I was saving money, but the price at the counter was $185, not the $217 you'll charged me... No savings there!! But mostly an hour and a half wait for a rental was over the top! Our flight was only an hour and 20 minutes.. I don't know what Fox's problem was, but it was crappy service!!
The tires were low and back seats kept falling down.. main problem was that the fob didn’t always work leaving me unable to unlock the car.. I was traveling alone so the thought of being stranded was a bit worrisome.. I stoped locking the car...
We had a problem with our flight and ended up getting to the car rental late. At first they gave me a hard time and said they would not honor our rental agreement. After telling them what happened to our plane with a fuel leak and being up since 4am they did honor the rental agreement.
I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly we were in and out. Fox tried to sell additional insurance but we did not accept it. Car had a long scratch on it but it was noted prior to us leaving TPA.
Will NEVER rent from them again. Vehicle class reserved not available at time of pickup. Reserved full size SUV and got a mini van. Hidden fees!! Toll process was ridiculous! 3xs higher than all other rental companies. If you think you are saving money, you are wrong! It will be more in the end and you wont get the vehicle reserved! AVOID

it was the worst experience ever, they overcharged us and although we showed them our invoice with the remaining amount we owed they charges us double and refused to refund us the correct amount. The representative was extremely rude, abrupt and unpleasant. We will NEVER use FOX RENT A CAR again, and I will let everybody in my network know about this awful experience, and will dispute the charge with my credit card company, unless they agree to refund us the correct amount
Their customer service and emergency road service was terrible. It took more than 4 hours for customer service to return my call and once they did, they disconnected me when transferring me to emergency road service which is automated. I’d already called them and it took 2 hours for a return call which had I been stranded could have proved dangerous and possibly fatal. Then it was almost 2 more hours before they gave me a new car. Additionally, I’d made an error on the drop-off time of the vehicle. I’d indicated 4:00 am instead of 4:00 pm on the same day. Myoverall cost skyrocketed to 376.00 US $ rather than the CDN rate! Overall, I’m am extremely dissatisfied

Staff recommended 7 passenger Toyota 4-Runner, which gave us plenty of room (had originally booked a Ford Explorer but plane came in 1.5 hrs late, and there were none left). Happy with the recommendation and quick service.

Great experience all around. Wonderful price for a good vehicle which met all our needs.
Fox didn't have the car I booked nor a similar car. They give me a smaller size, when I questioned the agent, he became unfriendly. When I went to pick up the car, I saw 2 cars of the model that I booked, but they told me those cars are not ready!!. the condition of the car they give me was terrible, mechanically, the smell, and it did'nt have floor mats, with a hole on the driver side floor. very bad experience.
Called fox lost and found 7 times. Never received a call back. Lost and found never answered the phone. I left my handicapped placard in the vehicle , maybe it fell under seat. Conned into buying sun pass. Very disappointed with fox. Waited arou d 45 min. To check in. Disgusting.
I waited more then 1.5 hours to rent the car. The consultant was in a hurry and we paid the rent more than it was stated for the prepayment. Provided not true information about toll roads, and because it was the first prime operator paid and regretted it.
