Dislike: Pickup was slower than expected , 20-30 minute wait in line

Like: Found the vehicle last in the trip planning and still got a wonderful price. The check in was all computerized and I got to pick my vehicle from a number of choices makes and models. Really liked the whole process and very considerate personnel helping with the check in computers. And check in only took minutes.
Dislike: The fuel options are confusing so filling up before returning seemed the best and least expensive option. The insurance included was something I've looked for and it was a pleasant benefit.

The car was very new, and since we had a lot of luggage, they kindly upgraded us to a larger SUV. This avoided a lot of unnecessary trouble.

No Chinese translation. The staff were telling lies, and the content they asked you to sign was very different from what they said.

Like: I was very satisfied with the rental. I had wanted a red car but the white Buick Cascada convertible was a great choice. My family and I had a wonderful time.
Dislike: I did not like the 45 min wait in line and that I could not use my atm card.

Alamo charged mandatory fees without explanation.

We originally booked a Toyota RAV4, for 4 people and 3 suitcases. In reality, we had 4 people and 5 suitcases, so we upgraded to a Nissan Pathfinder. The luggage space was still insufficient, and we had to fold down the last row of seats to solve the issue. Fortunately, there were only 4 of us. The upgrade also added windshield insurance, which we accidentally accepted and ended up spending an extra thirty dollars. The car’s condition was excellent, no complaints.

The staff was very friendly, the pickup process was smooth, and there was no upselling.

It was very convenient to get the shuttle bus at Los Angeles airport. The driver was very polite and helped with the luggage. The rental company operated in an orderly manner. No aggressive insurance upselling encountered.

The airport shuttle takes only 5 minutes to the rental company. The process on site is quick, just pick a car and go. Returning the car is even more convenient. Just drive in (with a full tank), and the inspection takes just a few minutes. Very convenient.
