“won't beal with Alamo anymore, they make it so hard to pick up the car”
About Alamo:8.0/10
Won't deal with Alamo anymore as the front desk did not want to give me the car because of my credit card. Had to call a manager who finally release me the car.
Will deal with other dealer who have same credit card criteria and always accepted my different cards
About QEEQ:10.0/10
easy booking process and good insurance service provided (even do i did not have to use it
It's not my first time renting a car in Vancouver. I've rented from both National and Alamo before. National, possibly because of its larger size, seems more arrogant. Alamo offers warmer service and provides more detailed instructions for pickup and return.
“I rented a car not for a road trip, but for convenience, so I didn't plan any specific route. It was”
About Alamo:6.0/10
We initially thought there would be a staff member who spoke Chinese, but later realized there was just a counter. The staff behind the counter didn’t understand Chinese at all, so we had to communicate with our limited English. The communication wasn’t great, but it didn't affect the car rental.
Picked up the car from Vancouver Airport. There are signs right outside the arrival gate, and many travelers heading to the rental car area; just follow them. There are ALAMO signs along the way too. Once in the parking lot, several rental companies share an office space. Find the appropriate counter, wait about 5 minutes, and the staff will indicate when it's your turn. Hand over the rental voucher from QEEQ, along with your credit card, passport, domestic driver's license, and translation (QEEQ offers this free service). After registration, they confirm your car type, pickup and drop-off locations, rental duration, and total cost. They might suggest adding local offerings like insurance, but since we already had full coverage from QEEQ, we declined and showed them the related notes in English. The staff didn't push further. After printing a new rental voucher and signing it, they directed us to the car. As we planned to cross the border to the USA, we proactively asked if this was allowed, and the answer was affirmative. We left the office, followed the ALAMO signs, and located the car. The entire process took less than 15 minutes - simple, efficient, and friendly service from ALAMO staff. The rental cost was 204 CAD with a 200 CAD deposit, credit card only (VISA or MasterCard).
Would not use again. 45 minute wait plus then giving me a car that wasn’t anywhere close to a Nissan Maxima as advertised. Was told that it’s in the terms and conditions and despite arguing the merits of a Dodge Charger vs a maxima they were unmoved. Will not use again.
Car was not fully clean on outside and had barely been cleaned in inside. Inside had footmarks all across the doors from previous hire
The car was brand new with 23km on the clock. Staff were helpful and had all the details of the rental. Even though I had most things included from Easyrentcars Alamo offered those extras too.
Drop off was easy and all staff in the parking bay were helpful and friendly. Thank you

This booking platform certainly save money as most things were included in the price. I would certainly use Easyrentcars again!

About Alamo:10.0/10
This is the third time I've rented a car from Alamo. It's excellent—quick and easy for both pick-up and return. Besides being affordable, they also offer an extra driver for free. Overall, this car rental company offers great value.
About QEEQ:10.0/10
Des tarifs intérressants, un site facile d'utilisation, des assurances compétitives, des documents clairs.
Peut-être faire une contre-proposition de surclassement pourrait être intéressant.
The price was quite reasonable, and the service at the Vancouver airport counter was excellent. They even gave me a free car upgrade. The staff helped install the child seat.
