Picked up the car at Kuala Lumpur AirAsia terminal. The pickup location was not clearly marked; we had to ask the terminal staff to find it. Not sure if the problem was with the car rental company or the car rental platform, but when we got to the office, we were told the pickup point was elsewhere. However, they offered to deliver the car for free, which took about half an hour. The car had over 30,000 kilometers on it, which was acceptable. The process was very simple, and after inspection, we quickly drove off. The return instructions were very clear, and the return process was very quick, taking about 2 minutes. Overall, I am satisfied.
Very dissatisfied! Our flight landed at 11 PM and when we arrived at the terminal where the car rental company is supposed to be, there wasn't even a counter. It took us 2 hours to get in touch with someone from the rental company. The car they delivered had an empty fuel tank and the GPS navigation system we reserved online was missing. We had to wait another 20 minutes for them to bring it. If you're planning to visit Sabah, do not rent a car from this company, you'll definitely regret it!!!
The store is on the LG floor of WISMA UOA, and it's fairly easy to find. I picked up the car an hour early without any extra charges. The service was excellent.
The car is new, only 30,000 kilometers. The condition is good! The only issue was it wasn't fully fueled. Contacted them by phone to solve the specific issue.
The service attitude and car condition were satisfactory. When I picked up the car, the fuel gauge was at 2/3, and when I returned it, the gauge was at 1/3, and I didn't refill it. They charged 80 MYR to my credit card. Actually, I had previously filled the tank from 1/5 to full with only 75 MYR. Refilling from 1/3 to 2/3 would cost at most 30 MYR. They overcharged me by 50 MYR, which feels unfair!
Great! This store is located in the Golden Triangle area. I read the reviews in advance and found Subway easily, which led me to the store. At pickup, the staff asked the driver to sign several times. I was worried it was for extra sales, but later proved unnecessary. The staff were very nice, although their English had a strong Malay accent, making it a bit hard to understand. They tried their best to explain. I guess it's because my English isn't very good.
