Dislike: The staff during pick up had quoted for a insurance premium to cover Aud 4700 that will be charged by insurance company she said in the event the car is damaged an exorbitant sum which was if i'm not wrong more that Aud 200 and this was more than AUd 177 I had paid for the rental of the car itself. And she quoted that the compny will hold Aud4000 in my credit card pending the evaluation of the insurance company even if there was a small scretch on the car....which was absurd. I m really not happy with that as it made me scared shit abt it when I drove the car. We want to take additional insurance if required but the premium amount must be reasonable and the staff shld explain it well for us to understand instead of scaring us....otherwise all was fine.

The reception staff was expressionless and did not explain the cost details. They didn't check the cost details of our order and simply added local insurance. By the time we noticed that the bill was almost twice as much as the price we booked online, we had already signed, and considering the late hour, our fatigue, and language barriers, we had to accept it.

Their cars are alright, but I don't understand why they charged me a total of 331.76 AUD. Is it because of taxes? The rental fee was only 292.23 and the child seat was 28 for four days; I can't figure out how it added up to 331.76 AUD. Maybe it was because the airport was crowded, and the rental lady wasn't as helpful as Hertz's staff. Trevor from Hertz printed a map for me and kindly explained how to avoid toll routes.

Waited a week for the deposit refund, called and they said they forgot. The next day they refunded a part, then said the infant seat cost was 35 dollars more, while it was 24 dollars when we booked. The attitude of the black female receptionist was very poor. She insisted on giving us a significantly inferior model, a small Corolla. After we firmly refused, her attitude worsened, and she told us to wait indefinitely for our reserved car. We continued to assert our rights, and she finally provided a small local-brand SUV, which was still much lower than the model we had booked. The car had collisions and noticeable scratches, and they had no record of these. When we reported this, the female receptionist was about to finish her shift and refused to handle it. We approached another male receptionist, whose attitude was equally bad, claiming he could do nothing. Eventually, an Asian gentleman stepped in to assist us and gave us a Peugeot 3008, but it was also below the category we had reserved. By this time, it was over an hour past our scheduled pickup time.
