From the Baggage Claim area in Terminal 1, exit the terminal using the doors opposite baggage carousel #2 and cross the road at the first pedestrian crossing. Turn right and you will see a sign for “Hotel & Off Airport Buses” Follow the walkway around until you are opposite the INTERNATIONAL TERMINAL (Terminal 2). You should see a large sign with “MELBOURNE” in lights inside Terminal 2. Wait here for the Apex shuttle van. TERMINAL 2 – INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS After collecting your luggage, please do the following: Please click on the “Ready to Collect” button on the email we’ve sent you OR Phone our office toll free on 1800 273 922 (or +61 3 7043 7893) and advise you are ready for an Apex shuttle pick-up. From the Arrivals Hall in Terminal 2, walk towards Terminal 3 (T3) and exit the terminal using the main doors Cross the first pedestrian crossing and turn left. Follow the sign for “Hotel & Off Airport Buses” Follow the walkway until you are opposite the INTERNATIONAL TERMINAL (T2). You should see a large sign with “MELBOURNE” in lights inside Terminal 2. Wait here for the Apex shuttle van. Drop-off Instructions

Vehicle needs to be returned to our depot at 5 Western Avenue, Westmeadows, Victoria. Our shuttle will transfer you to the airport from there.

    The car had high mileage, over 100 000 km. It broke down on a remote highway on Kangaroo Island, had to be towed, and when it couldn’t be fixed on the island, it was towed to the ferry and we were charged $ 320 for the towing to get it back to Adelaide. Extremely bad experience.

    When we picked up the car the guy at the counter said it would be alright if we brought back the car with 75% full tank. By the drop-off the lady asked why it wasn't full. Bit of miscommunication there, but in the end 75% was fine.

    I had an issue with pick-up due to my flight being delayed and me being unable to change my booking to after hours pickup. The customer service was amazing from the manager as he was able to change my pick-up time, day and location due to the circumstances which made my life so much easier. The car that I received was also so much better than I expected. The Hyundai Accent had car play and cruise control which was perfect to use for road trips across great ocean road.

    very nice and helpful staff at pick up, the car was great. only problem I had is with drop off. I wanted to change the drop off location from the airport to downtown and customer service didn't agree arguing that the car was already booked for another ride from the airport the same day. this is a 30 minutes drive from one branch to another, I'm sure they could have find a way to solve it if they wanted.

    The girl at the reception was somewhat friendly. However, her company has serious problems. I'm talking about core values. This issue has led the company to adopt the worst strategy possible—renting out very old cars with over 135,000 kilometers on them. This caused my car to break down after just 100 kilometers from the store! I've been renting cars worldwide for over 25 years and have rented from almost every rental company. No rental company dares to do this. That night, I missed dinner and had to make do with pizza. I almost missed my booked motel as well!

    Apex is my top choice for car rentals in Australia and New Zealand. The cars are new, the service is excellent, and the vehicle condition is great. I brought my own navigation mount and upgraded to a Staria in Melbourne. We were five people with one 28-inch, one 26-inch, two 24-inch, and one 20-inch luggage, and we had plenty of space. I adapted to driving on the right-hand side within half a day, as I had lived in the UK for a few years. Driving etiquette is very similar to the UK, making it an easy transition.

    Returned the car just yesterday, so not sure if there will be any issues later. However, for now, the service attitude seems quite good. At the airport, you might need to wait for the shuttle for 1-30 minutes since there's just one vehicle for transfers. If the shuttle has just left, you’ll need to wait. We waited for 15 minutes this time. The same applies when returning to the airport. We used an Australian driver’s license and didn’t need to use a credit card to pick up the car.

    Rented the car in Melbourne and returned it in Sydney, which was quite convenient and trouble-free. The staff in Sydney were very polite. The gentleman in Melbourne, a Caucasian, might not have had enough sleep as he didn't smile at all. We got an MG and were specifically told to use 95-octane petrol. However, we couldn't find any 95 on the way, so we used 98 instead. When we arrived in Sydney, the staff there told us 91 was fine.

    Smooth communication, both pickup and dropoff were quick without queues. The car was relatively new, with less than 10,000 kilometers. It's a small company, which might explain why my request for a vehicle upgrade wasn't fulfilled, possibly due to limited resources.

    Absolutely top notch. We, unfortunately, had a couple of problems develop with the first car we were supplied out of Melbourne. Our first opportunity to address our concerns was when we reached Sydney. The fella who helped us out (Peter?) was exceptional. He was quick to recognize and agree with our two concerns and had us out fitted with a new vehicle right away. The efficiency of how we were dealt with was impressive and he even went well beyond the call of duty to help direct us properly towards our destination point. My wife and I drove away from this experience feeling truly valued as customers and we have recommended your firm to others already.
