Pick-up Instructions

Please contact the staff to pick you up to ACE Rental Cars - Melbourne Airport car hire when you arrived.

Customers at Melbourne airport get free transfers to Ace via airport parking shuttles. After you've collected your bags and cleared customers call Ace to request pick-up, then proceed to the waiting area across from the International Terminal (Terminal 2) by the brown bus shelters marked "Hotels & Off-Airport Parking"

Drop-off Instructions

Shuttle service to domestic and international terminals from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. DEPARTING FLIGHTS Allow an additional 30 minutes prior to flight check-in time for vehicle return & transfer to terminal.After hour returns need to be pre-arranged with our Melbourne Airport Branch at a cost of $50. Once arranged the branch will contact you with the relevant drop off details.

Young Driver Fee applies at 18 - 21 years old with charge of AUD 9 per day approximately.

Driver's License Requirements

The main driver and any additional drivers will need to provide a physical full driving license in their name with no major endorsements. The license should be held for at least 2 year(s).

For foreign renters, you need to bring:

Please note that an International Driving Permit(IDP) is only a translation and you must present your original driving licence at the counter.

The customer service phone line is practically unreachable. For renters, being unable to contact customer service while away from home can cause serious issues. This is absolutely unacceptable.

Waited a long time with no one available to handle the return process. During the return, no one confirmed the return details; I was only brusquely told it was done, and they ignored me afterwards. After returning the car, I waited nearly 20 minutes without any shuttle to the airport. This made me rush through everything at the airport. Very poor service. Worst part: after returning the car without confirmation, I was charged multiple fees, not knowing what they were for. Very poor service.
