BOSTON LOGAN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT CAR RENTAL REVIEWS

I was VERY upset after realizing I DID NOT HAVE TO GO THROUGH ANY TOLLS. Norman (my customer service rep), outright told me there were tolls from pick up to Vermont where I was going...DID NOT HAVE A SINGLE ONE - $48 - WASTED...ENJOY YOUR BONUS!!! You should inform your representatives to HELP customers who do not know the area - not gauge them so you can collect additional $$$. Being low income, and on a budget, I could have used that $50 on other needs. Just a frustrated customer who feels used.

All 3 people I interacted with were professional, friendly and pleasant. They say "people remember how you make them feel" and I left each interaction with a smile and feeling great. Whoever checked me in was a very professional young man who made me feel like my time was valued, I was taken care of. He advised me on my routes re the ezpass. The gentleman downstairs and the gentleman at pick up were friendly and funny (even at 430am!). GREAT job all around everyone.

First car wasn’t clean and had mechanical problems.

They over charge us. We booked for $59.22 including all fees and taxes and they charged us $100. They told us that the price when we book it is jus an estimate. This never happened to me before and I rent car with other agencies 3 to 4 times a year

The elderly gentleman at Avis was very nice, but they often don't have the specified model. Upgrades cost extra. If it's not our fault the model isn't available, we might get a free upgrade depending on our attitude. Unfortunately, this time we paid more and got misled.

No hidden fees ..mine were practically greater than the rental price

The staff was patient, although I still got inadvertently charged for some reimbursements. Overall, the attitude was good. It was my first time renting a car, so I was a bit nervous.

The additional driver was included and paid for in the order, but at pickup, it wasn't reflected and another $189 had to be paid. This doesn't make any sense.

No charges for returning the car 5 hours late, everything went smoothly.

The car was too old, the brake pedal too hard, and there was noise from the brake pads or brake axle.

I have used Budget for years. After the way I was handled on the phone and at the airport in Boston, I will never use you again. You did not honor the Easyrentcars reservation of 41.00 USD. Instead, you wanted to charge me 265.00 for the day. Ridiculous. Your agent on the phone was totally ineffective. Never again. I rented a car with Dollar for 170 which was stupid as well but much better than the 265.00

Having the car drop off point set up in the gps was very useful and saved valuable time on our way to the airport

When returning the car, I left my handbag on the driver's seat and forgot to take it with me. Multiple phone calls yielded no results. Later, we sought help from another company's staff who managed to retrieve it for us. However, $900 in cash from the bag was missing (other documents and cards were still there). After the cash went missing, I contacted the Boston Alamo airport manager Tim who promised to look into the surveillance footage but never got back to us on time. Calls to the manager also went unanswered. What kind of terrible attitude is this?

Hertz has great customer service; picking up and exchanging the car was very easy, especially since we arrived in Boston at night, so there was no line.

Horrible experience. They double charged me for insurance. Cutsomer service said I would get a refund for that but I never got it - very sleazy stuff. The car's hood was open when I picked it up and it almost popped off when I got on the highway - this is just unacceptable... Avoid Dollar and stick with Enterprise.

Hertz couldn’t find our reservation. Said they were having an issue with reservations stating with the letter J. Took 30 minutes to correct.
