Got the car at Phoenix airport, no waiting, free upgrade, no push to buy insurance. When we asked for full coverage, the staff asked if we had travel insurance and then explained that some parts of it overlap, so no need to buy extra. Very honest.

Easy pickup and drop-off, friendly staff, an enjoyable road trip in the southeastern USA.

The service was relatively fast, but they tried every possible way to get me to upgrade the car.

We rented a Tahoe, and the website showed a range of similar cars like the Nissan 4WD. However, Alamo gave us a GMC at pickup. The staff just handed us the keys without letting us choose or explaining why we got a GMC instead. Fortunately, the two GMCs were in good condition. It would have been better if the staff explained the change. The pickup process was quick and convenient, the staff was very friendly, and they didn't try to upsell me insurance or a tank of gas. I am very satisfied with this rental experience.

It was a very quick process during the pick up as I didn’t need to wait in line for service, everything was done through the computer, I liked the freedom of choosing our car as we were able to spend time looking at the car and deciding which car to pick at our own pace.

Booking was very clear and easy to understand, the price drop didn’t really work for us as the price didn’t drop although the price of our rental was cheap anyways.
