J'ai appelé l'agence Hertz quand nous étions dans le train pour prévenir que nous étions en retard et que nous arriverions à 19h30. Réponse : l'agence ferme à 18h00 (agence étiquetée GARE et les trains ne s'arrêtent pas de rouler...) et donc comme il faut que je vous attende, il vous en sera demandé plus de 100 euros supplémentaires... Pour une voiture type Fiat500/Twingo pour une journée plus de 150 euros, je vous avoue que je n'avais déjà pas un bon retour de Hertz, mais là..... Certes la personne de l'agence nous a donné une Clio (ce qui m'indiffère), mais ce n'est pas cela qui a fait baissé la facture. Je n'ai jamais vu cela à part à Mayotte, quelle référence !!! Et pourtant j'ai fait plusieurs fois le tour de la terre.

Had a very smooth and pleasant self-drive trip in Europe. Both pickup and return were on the 8th floor of Charles de Gaulle Terminal 1. The signs are very clear.

First time renting a car, the staff at the counter were very patient in explaining the details. The car was in excellent condition, very clean both inside and outside. The engine runs smoothly.

Chap was rude, wasnt interested in any paperwork just barked licence, credit card and passport. Then said I would be better in a 7 seater car, rather than the 8 seater van we had booked and said it wasnt available. I said I would have to have the upgraded Mercedes van then and refused a car, and by a miracle they suddenly found the van that I had booked. They tried to push the zero excess insurance numerous times, and were dismissive when pointing out damage that they had missed on the report sheet. They also didnt explain that the barcode ticket they gave me was to gain release from the car park. Overall they were worse than awful.
