The female staff at the rental company counter had a poor attitude. My English is just average; I could understand some things she said, but not everything. I needed her to explain several times. Maybe she thought I didn't understand anything. She initially told me that my insurance was incomplete and didn't cover roadside assistance and third-party accidents, suggesting I add insurance. I remembered that at least roadside assistance was included when I booked, and the invoice I checked before departure didn't mention it. Later, a phone representative assured me that I had full coverage, so I wasn't worried since I had also bought travel insurance before departure. Perhaps it wasn't displayed on the invoice, or maybe she was trying to help me, but then she privately told her colleague that this Chinese person didn't know anything. Her colleague said there were bigger cars available, but she insisted on giving us the small car we had booked. Her attitude was very unpleasant. It took a long time to get the car, and I don't want to rent from this company again.

The staff was very rude, tries to sneak in insurance without explaining and was hostiek when confronted. Will never rent from this location.

The car was filthy on the inside, sticky surfaces and stains, like it hadn’t been cleaned for a year internally. There were also a lot of scratches and damage to the outside of the car. In addition the drive seat speaker was split which made it impossible to listen to any audio on my 4 hour drive - frustrating! None of these faults were mentioned when I picked it up.

Booking was easy, wish the product had been good enough.

I could’ve given a perfect 10 rating if it wasn’t for the counter staff at thrifty. He was so pushy in selling us the insurance coverage despite us paying it through easy car rentals, which could’ve resulted to paying twice on insurance. The queue was getting long for the other customers and he still carried in with his upsells.
