We did not receive the correct vehicle that we booked and were forced to use a Mazda CX-5, which did not have enough space for the four of us with the baby car seat installed. Additionally, we were charged extra for the baby car seat, even though I had already paid for it through QEEQ. We were also pressured into purchasing insurance, as they threatened to charge a $200 withdrawal fee if we declined.
As someone who works for the ACCC, I found it concerning to be treated this way by an Australian company, and I felt harassed. I have already lodged a complaint against this company for their unethical sales practices. The staff were unhelpful throughout the experience.
It may be worth considering if partnering with ACE is truly beneficial for your reputation. I will be in touch soon to provide further information for our investigation.

I bought full insurance through Zuzuche, but the rental counter didn't recognize it and insisted I buy their insurance again, otherwise they demanded a high deposit.

Horrible pick up experience. Dialled the qeeq provided number. Phone tree maze. Connected me to hertz. Restarted, same rubbish. Had to answer a bunch of ‘confirmation’ questions instead of a simple “we’ll be right there”. Manager on site was too busy for me, so waited until he called an employee in.
