Returning the car took a long time because of the queue. It was hard to distinguish between staff in uniforms and those without. Before even entering the return gate, they told me to just leave the car. Then someone not in uniform drove the car away to a non-AVIS parking lot. When I asked a staff member in uniform, they said it was fine and that person was their manager. Overall, it made me very anxious, worried the car might get taken away or involved in an accident. After returning the car, there were additional charges but no way to verify them.
The service staff were very nice. They helped me find the car's location. My original car was upgraded. You can decline any additional services with fees.
Got a car with a flat tire, and it was a Japanese car with manual seat adjustment. Not a good rental experience.
