I have photos from the time of pick-up, and now we are going back and forth. Even though I bought full insurance, which should have been handled by the insurance company, I feel it is unfair to be falsely accused like this.
At the counter, they told us there were no cars of the model we reserved, but there was one nearby. They only gave us a car that was just returned from another city, making us feel like we were overcharged for the one-way fee.
They upgraded our rental from a Volkswagen Touran to a Mercedes without informing us. Driving a 9-seater Mercedes in Spain was a nightmare, and the car was in poor condition. It even broke down halfway.
The waiting time was too long, typically taking over an hour. Just after getting off the plane and being very tired, such a long wait was really exhausting.
