CHIC CAR RENT CAR RENTAL REVIEWS IN THAILAND

This car rental company is a scam. Everyone, do not rent cars from this company. When picking up the car, we told their staff that we would like to extend the rental by one more day. They said we could simply pay the same daily rate when returning the car. However, when we returned the car, they demanded 80% more for the extra day. When we asked to speak with the staff we had dealt with earlier, they claimed not to know who that was. We later found out that the section for staff signatures on the rental document was blank. They threatened to withhold our 5000B deposit if we didn't pay the higher fee. This is clearly unfair. Do not book cars here.

Poor English, lots of issues

The flight was delayed, they directly charged me and then told me there were no cars. Had to rent another car elsewhere.

There were very few people both when picking up and dropping off the car, no need to queue. Communication was smooth, which was helpful since renting a car is simple. They reminded me that the full insurance doesn't cover the tires.

The service attitude was quite good.

The staff only know very basic English, almost none really, just Thai, making communication very difficult and the process very slow.

The staff was quite friendly and efficient. The return process took just one minute. There was an error in my booking time, but the company allowed me to pick up the car approximately six hours earlier and return it an hour later. Great service.

I rented a Honda City. The picture showed a sedan, but I received a hatchback. I asked the staff about this, and they said the engine model was the same, etc. Since my husband and I could fit our two large suitcases and the space was roomy enough, I didn't pursue it further.

The car was brand new, but unfortunately the rental company gave us a brand new vehicle with a red number plate (in Thailand, red plates indicate vehicles that haven't completed the tax process, and can only be driven in specific areas and not between 6 PM to 6 AM), which led to a fine from the police. Due to communication issues, the police didn't provide me with the necessary documents for proving this, and the rental company refused to reimburse the fine. Poor experience.

Service attitude is acceptable

Great service, staff were very friendly and fast. The paperwork was completed within ten minutes and the car was handed over quickly.

QEEQ made a mistake on the international driving permit translation, which caused issues with the original booking information. Although it's not entirely QEEQ's fault, as I should have checked beforehand. The rental company's staff was very patient while I sorted things out.

The car rental service in Thailand has a very good attitude. Returning the car is also very quick. Any issues are resolved promptly.

Fast pick-up and car exchange process. They didn't say anything even though I was slightly late returning the car. However, I couldn't find a gas station at the airport and returned the car with a 5/4 fuel level, resulting in an $800 charge.
