CAR RENTAL REVIEWS ON GOLDCAR IN MADRID

Terrible car rental company. They aggressively push sales and take advantage of language barriers to deceive customers into signing. I hope everyone stays vigilant. Currently in communication with the platform, awaiting results.

The weekday queue is relatively quick, yet the mandatory fuel charges are expensive and higher than gas station prices!

Fraudulent sales. I was scammed with a so-called fuel purchase service fee. QEEQ is also complicit. I will never use this despicable rental company Goldcar and QEEQ again.

The car was impounded and towed by the police. The rental company charged me €1100, and I did not receive any calls or messages. I have no idea how they charged such a large amount. Typically, even police fines are not directly collected by the rental company. I consulted my Spanish friends, and they confirmed that the police cannot issue fines to the rental company. So I suspect the rental company charged me arbitrarily, and the amount is huge and unreasonable. I am still waiting for a response from the Zuzuche platform!!!

I had a full coverage but they told me that I had nothing, which I had to pay 68 euro to pick up the car.

They don't follow the rules of the contract. GOldCar won't has many hidden charges, rude staff, and they find every way possible to lie, cheat and steal. They charge airport fees which are suppose to be included. THey charge fuel which was included in the contract. False accusations of damage not done. Everyone in line is annoyed. I would never ever use them again as they are highway robbers. Also, the price quoted isn't the REAL price. Beware!!!!!!!!!

Very professional

Contract says show national license driving with Latin letters. I pre-booked full coverage . GOLDCAR says my national driving license is not valid in Spain but with extra 110€ it will be valid. I had no choice to pay extra 110€ for 4 days.
