Absolute cheats..had a full insurance bought while booking..still charged 180 pounds without informing me..later said that I shud have read all the terms b4 signing...strangely enough the receipt does not show the amount anywhere..just a tick where it says need full insurance..
Didn't have my chosen car group when I got there, offered me a massive 7 seater truck which I didn't want and I had to wait over an hour for a car to be returned. It wasn't washed properly or hoovered inside. On the plus side it was perfectly OK and a nice car to drive so I wasn't too bothered but it definitely could have cleaned better
“This is not a car rental business, it's an insurance rip-off.”
About Easirent:2.0/10
After being hustled to take extra insurance, I was told that if I didn't take some form of expensive top-up insurance, they would hold GBP 1500 on my card. If any issue was experienced with the car, even as small as a tyre issue, they would take the full GBP1500.
“What an utter disaster. Watched three people in front of me, desperate for a car and being ripped.”
About Easirent:2.0/10
Shambolic.
Watched three people infront of me being ripped off. They were desperate for a car, and had to pay an extra £45 per day to take out the excess cover.
I wasn't desperate, so when they tried it with me, I had to walk out.
You pay for what you get. It looks cheap, but they Will rip you off.
Staff were helpful but there was a long wait for service and for the car to be brought round from storage and handover. The car was good value for money but the interior was dirty and stained.
Poor service at the desk, no car available on arrival, bit of a comedy, but not guys on the desk fault, not their fault if car is not there, someone above doesn’t manage turnover time and booking well. Shame as great value for money
Waited about an hour to be served so was late for my work. Car was dirty as pressure washer was not working so it was difficult to check condition of the vehicle. The previous renter obviously was a smoker as there was ash over the windows. A very poor attempt at cleaning the vehicle and an absolutely terrible amount of time waiting to be served. I won’t use this company again
The car that i ordered was not available. i was offered an "upgrade" - pick up track.... poor choice.
poor condition, broken tail light.
got a feeling that the only thing that this company is looking for are ways to make me spend more money (super expensive additional insurance, paiud 100 pounds to rent to kids boosters), etc.
Took a very long time to get the car. The guy on the desk kept sales pitching to get the person in front to upgrade. It was extremely frustrating.
Also on the paper work it said to go to a different pick up address, wasting my time walking around while it was raining
“They take £1500 car Deposit ok that’s fine then take £95.00 out off you Account for petrol”
About Easirent:5.0/10
The staff I found we’re very unhelpful the impression they gave me was to get as much money as possible out of you
Maybe you need to employ more English people and not eastern Europeans as I felt I wasn’t in England they seem to have no personality
Plus the car they gave me had been in a previous accident
The counter staff member was rude and offhand. I also found him to be evasive and somewhat shifty.
He did not have the mini car group which I had booked- suggesting that we might wait some undetermined time for a late return or offering us a 9-seater vehicle instead.
He then insisted that I was required to give a £2500 credit card deposit which he said would be held for 2 weeks- this larger deposit due to the fact it was a larger vehicle than I had booked.
There was no offer of compensation for this mistake and no acknowledgement of the extra fuel that this vehicle would consume at my expense, or of the difficulties in manouvering this large vehicle in traffic, etc.
Even in the light of this failure to supply the pre-booked vehicle, I felt this was an unneccessarily adversarial encounter.
At the pick up point in an underground car park 3 blocks away the final check and release was conducted efficiently and courteously. This also was true for the return check and sign off as 'all fine'.
“Friendly, professional service. Although fairly clean, Car exterior and interior could be improved.”
About Easirent:8.3/10
Counter staff at Luton, Kingsley and Khalid were extremely helpful, polite and responded to all my queries quickly. Excellent customer service, Dealing with my individual needs.
The non counter staff also provided a high level of excellent customer service.
“VERY slow pick up process, staff tried to limit mileage to 100 per day.”
About Easirent:6.7/10
VERY slow pick up process, staff tried to limit mileage to 100 miles per day despite car being booked with unlimited mileage. Still waiting for fuel deposit refund.
