The time spent waiting to get served at the Budget desk in Orlando International Airport was ridiculous. There were only 3 staff on duty and they spent a long time trying to sell add ons and extras to the customers instead of trying to keep the waiting time down.
The car could have been cleaner and there was some slight damage on the car that made me nervous that they might try to charge me for it as nobody comes with you to get the car.

A management disaster!!
I arrived at the car hire centre at 7.30pm to find that the Budget line was the longest and we had to wait over two hours to get my documents checked and paperwork signed. The excuse was that the airport has some plumbing problems and terminal A was closed so everyone was sent to terminal B car hire, however this did explain why other rental firms had short lines.
The situation was very badly managed:
• Budget should have advised the people in the line that it would take over two hours to process,
other members of family could then sit down or get coffee etc.
• There was no need for the entire families to be in the same line as the main drivers, this just made matters worse.
• If Budget are going to blame the airport, then they should have told the people in the line.
• Maybe hand out bottles of bottles of water to people, the least they could have done.
• Show some regret to customers when they finally got to the counter, no reasons were given unless they were asked.
Once I got my paperwork, I was told go another counter where they tried to get me the car I selected, it was just chaos, staff on the radio and phones begging and demanding cars in front of waiting customers. My family and I finally left the airport at 11pm.
I understand in business that things somethings go wrong and companies are often judged on how they deal with problems but Budget really let themselves down on this one, there was no attempt to explain or improve the situation. Added to this the car was not cleaned properly and dirty inside. Never again!

After queuing for over 2 hours at MCO airport waiting to collect a car, whilst my 3 children and 2 elderly relatives waited, I decided to cut my losses and get a taxi to our holiday rental - we got into the property after 10pm having landed at MCO before 6pm. I then had to return to MCO the following day (another taxi fare incurred) to pick up the rental car I'd pre-paid for. Now I was told that no large 7 seat SUVs were available and they managed to find a small 7 seat SUV, though still at the same price.
This experience has put me off using Budget again.

We queued fir 2 hours to pick the car up which after an 8 + hour flight was terrible especially with children. Not enough staff and was a lengthy process. The server was polite but we ended up paying quite a bit extra after his successful suggestive selling of add ons.
Also the car wasn’t in the bay we were told it was.
It was a swift drop off which was a relief.
I’m not sure I’d use the firm again solely on the terrible wait to pick the car up. Things we’re getting very heated in the queue.

The rear door was very hard to lift. The locking system was difficult as you had to be right next to drivers door for it to unlock. You couldn't lock or unlock other doors without the drivers door open first. This caused frustrations. Also you could only use one Bluetooth connection at any one time. So if one person wants to listen to their music and the driver wants to use the google maps this was not possible.

I am a US citizen but because I booked during my service as a Peace Corps volunteer serving in Senegal, there was difficulty picking up the rental. They needed international identification, which I did not have. They worked with Easyrentcars though to sort out the issues and honored the rental voucher in the end.

I have to mention Sandra. One of the most professional car rental desk staff I've encountered and I encounter a lot. She was very upbeat and friendly but with great professionalism. I got a car that was better than what I expected and the vehicle handled great. The return experience was less than purfect but that is largely did to the way Orlando airport parking is structured. Only draw back was the long line when I picked up the car. After a 16 hour flight would have preferred a short waiting period.

Returned car around 3:30 am on 11/Jan, terminal C, MCO. No officer to receive the vehicle, dropped the key to the officer at the counter. Although I informed them I had my own sunpass for the tolls and this was confirmed as ok, they failed to mention that the E-Toll they now use is linked to the car and not a box affixed to window. Initially, the staff strongly recommended a higher-level sports car and falsely claimed that the discounted price included insurance. In the end, the total cost exceeded our budget. Despite repeatedly telling them to stick to the original booking and that we didn't need luggage insurance, they pretended not to understand. As individuals with study abroad experience, we believed we could make our point clear. Eventually, they had another supervisor take over, who fully understood our request, but the final price still included some additional insurance fees, which did not match the total price I had booked. This was very confusing. I had already selected the option for third-party liability insurance at an additional daily cost of 20-30 yuan during the booking process, so the total price should have included it. Why did the final price differ? If that's the case, is there any point in pre-booking? This is completely unreasonable. If there are additional taxes or other fees, it should be displayed at the time of booking. When we arrived at the front desk at the airport, they informed us that certain insurance options were not included. This wasted a lot of time.

First, they added many insurances without asking me and charged my card directly. After I insisted, they removed two items but left three. When I asked why the amount was different from the order, they said it was a deposit that would be refunded when the car was returned, which was not the case. Second, they tried to persuade me to upgrade the car I had booked. I reserved a Ford Fiesta, but when I arrived, they told me they only had a two-door car, smaller than a Mini Cooper, and suggested adding $10 a day for a bigger car. I refused, and in the end, they did give me a bigger car, a Nissan Sentra, saying it was a free upgrade. This is nonsense; the whole parking lot didn't even have two-door cars!

Arrived at 12:30 AM, waited an hour in line to complete the paperwork. When it was finally my turn, the staff went to check the vehicle for 15 minutes. When they returned, they asked me to pay. Luckily, I asked what the charge was for, because my English isn't great and I didn't understand right away. I then remembered someone mentioning a mandatory insurance fee. It turned out to be true, but I declined. The staff wasn't happy. When I went to pick up the car, the parking spot was poorly marked and I had trouble finding any staff to help. When I finally found someone, I almost drove off in the car before noticing it was damaged—the front headlights were broken! I had booked an SUV, but was told this was the only one left. The staff was polite but had no other car options. After searching for an hour, I settled for a sedan, which had a big scratch on the back—thankfully, I noticed it, otherwise I couldn't have explained it later. In the end, we could only fit four people with luggage in the back seat. Fortunately, we were only four people, or we would've had to wait even longer. They refunded $80. We finally left at 3 AM, which really spoiled our initial mood upon arriving in the US.

I saw many bad reviews before renting, and thought that by paying attention to all the details, it would be fine. However, after returning to China, I found some inexplicable charges. After negotiating, I discovered they had purposely overcharged me for two extra days. I actually returned the car on the evening of the 22nd, but the bill said I returned it on the 24th. I have requested the rental platform to negotiate and compiled all the documents, asking my colleague in the U.S. to file a complaint against them. I suspect they overcharge Chinese orders maliciously, knowing it’s difficult for them to deal with it after returning home.

Random charges and unexplained fees. I've been using this platform for overseas car rentals since 2012. At that time, not many people from China were using the platform, and international rental agencies were more reliable. However, by 2019, as more Chinese customers started using the platform, those agencies began to impose arbitrary charges. In the future, I will book directly through the international rental agencies' platforms to ensure accountability. My trust in this platform has been decreasing.

Overall satisfied, but they may not clearly explain the extra insurance you buy. Also, they did not mention that no refund will be given for unused fuel if you purchase the fuel waiver. Friends who rent from them again, if you already bought insurance on QEEQ, clearly inform the rental company not to buy any insurance and decide on the fuel waiver service based on your needs.
