A vehicle can be driven across the Canadian border at any time, no matter what location it was rented from. It is recommended to have PERS coverage when using vehicle in cross border rentals for the US and Canada. The renter must have a valid driver's license and rental record to cross the border into Canada. Canadian law does require that everyone entering the country have a passport, so everyone in the vehicle must have the proper identification. Like: I liked that i had a selection to choose from then the car was almost new and it had navigation sunroof, great gas mileage, and i did not have to fill it up when i came back. I got to enjoy driving not worrying about filling the gas tank.
Dislike: I wish the price would have been lower because i would have been able to rent the car longer and take advantage of the insurance bump up they offered to me.

We booked a Dodge-type vehicle but got a Hyundai MPV instead. The car was equally spacious, accommodating 4 people and 5 suitcases. When we found out the trunk couldn't fit all the luggage, we folded down the third row, which created plenty of space. During the trip, there was a small incident where we missed booking an extra room for one night. We realized the trunk area was large enough for one person to sleep. Listening to the rain and train at night, I had a particularly good sleep. The car was new, only driven for 4000 miles, just past the break-in period, with strong power. No issues arose during the trip.

At the passenger pickup point in front of the terminal, a car arrives every 5 minutes. The driver was very enthusiastic and helped us load our luggage. It took 5 minutes to get to the rental place. There were three counters handling cars; the staff were very welcoming and finished the pickup procedures for us. They asked if we needed insurance. I presented the insurance I bought on QEEQ, which was the most comprehensive one. After checking it, they said it was fine and directed us to the backyard for the car pickup. In the yard, we showed our car pickup slip to the staff, who pointed to a range of cars and told us to choose any one in our rental category. We picked a newly washed car.

We picked up the car in Seattle and drove all the way to Yellowstone, heading north into Canada. Near Jasper, we hit an animal, and the car was damaged and couldn’t continue. Fortunately, we had purchased roadside assistance insurance, and the rental company staff was available 24/7 to assist. Although we waited for rescue in the cold wind for most of the day and had to communicate several times, considering the remote mountainous location, the incident was handled relatively smoothly. QEEQ also helped coordinate with the rental company. Overall, we were satisfied with the service!
