I do not understand English, but the car rental location was easy to find. Both picking up and returning the car were very convenient. Thumbs up!

The rental company employees were suspected of using deceptive tactics to sell additional insurance. Also, the parking lot at the Toronto Island airport dropoff location had no access card, making it impossible to enter. During non-business hours, self-service returns were not available, causing significant delays in returning the car.

Terrible experience, really terrible... We booked a car in Toronto while in China, with a return in Quebec, an 8-day trip. We arrived at the designated pick-up spot about an hour early. There were two drivers in our group... and each of us was told our documents were inadequate. One didn't have a Chinese driver's license, which was understandable, but the other was rejected because the photo was not satisfactory. Communication was difficult in a foreign country... we had no other choice. However, under the same conditions, we immediately rented a car from Hertz next door. Because the pick-up spot was in an underground garage, the signal was poor, and communication took longer than our pick-up time window, resulting in order cancellation. We contacted customer service to explain the situation... but now they are saying our prepayment is non-refundable. Can this kind of special situation be handled differently? Charging some fees would be acceptable... In the future, please make sure to plan well for pick-up and return times, including any possible flight delays.

Very convenient, no upselling of additional charges, and the return process involved only checking the fuel and exterior, very quick. However, the service was not very enthusiastic.

The parking lot is right across from the terminal, very convenient. The car exchange process is also very simple.

The lady at the front desk was very patient and nice. Much better than the guy at the AVIS store last time.

No mention of the car

The vehicle booked through the rental platform was rather old, with mileage over 20,000 kilometers. When I requested a replacement car, I was asked to pay additional rent, and they provided a brand new Lincoln MKC (SUV). The ride was comfortable, and the trunk could surprisingly fit four 28-30 inch suitcases. Alamo's rental procedures were straightforward.

Good, but lacks 24-hour service

The process of picking up and returning the car went relatively smoothly. Nothing special to mention. Overall, the service was satisfactory.

They provided a brand new car with less than 15,000 kilometers. The performance was excellent and I am very satisfied!

The check-in process was very thorough. To ensure we had a car with a GPS, they upgraded our vehicle and offered extra insurance options. The only issue was that the baby seat was missing one buckle.

The attitude was neither humble nor overly enthusiastic, but they were able to answer all questions!

Like: Hertz gave me a better car than anticipated, fast and easy check-in so that getting the car took less than 10 minutes. Returning the car was incredibly fast because the Hertz Man was standing ready to receive my car in the driveway and within a minute checked-in my car and gave me my receipt. Very fast and efficient rental system! Thank you Hertz!

The rental location is about six or seven kilometers from the airport exit. After calling the rental company, they replied that I need to take a skytrain for one stop and then wait for the shuttle at the station. The rental process was relatively simple, but I only got a JEEP (originally booked a Toyota Corolla). The car was in acceptable condition. The return process was straightforward and convenient.

The back seat was dirty and hadn't been cleaned, which made for an uncomfortable ride.

Pretty good, there are many options available for the same class of vehicles. We spent an extra 20 CAD per day to upgrade to an SUV, and ended up with a 7-seater Paladin, which was too big.
