Nothing satisfactory at all. Moreover, suspected fraud with repair bills and random charges. A minor scratch reportedly costs 4900 NZD, suspiciously just below the 5000 NZD deductible, as if they are using scratches as a pretext for major car overhauls.
The staff were patient. I added roadside assistance plus, but the deposit was still $200. The insurance for this model is excellent; the basic coverage has zero deductible and is handled by the rental company. Additional coverage can be added as needed.
Both pick-up and drop-off were efficient. At drop-off, there was company staff in the parking lot to collect the car, with no unnecessary inspections. It's convenient and hassle-free.

The rental company was very enthusiastic. They contacted us in advance and picked us up at the airport to go to the rental office, which was very convenient.
Excellent service, the reception lady was super cute. I do have one note: the phone number provided by QEEQ in the order was incorrect, and it didn't mention that the shuttle pick-up point is at Gate 2 of Christchurch Airport. Due to the time difference, I couldn't reach customer service. We were in a rush and had to ask around at the airport for help, while the company staff were waiting for us at Gate 2. We ended up wasting half an hour.
The service was excellent. Although there were upsells, it's their job, you can just decline. The vehicle was relatively new, equipped with everything except for a sunroof. It had high specs including a heads-up display, which was essential during our trip to the South Island. This high-end Kia SUV model is not available in the domestic market.
