Overall, the experience was terrible. Avoid this rental company at all costs. We booked in advance and paid, but when we arrived to pick up the car, they said it wasn't ready. They offered to take us to our hotel and promised the car would be delivered in two hours. When it finally arrived, they said there was a missing signature, so I had to go back to sign and pick up the car. When returning the car, they initially said someone would take us to the airport, but when we got there, they said no one was available, and we ended up waiting for at least 20 minutes with an uncertain time frame. In the end, I had to spend 22 dollars on a taxi to the airport. The car condition was far from what was advertised; it was an older car with over 100,000 kilometers and had an unpleasant smell. This was the worst rental experience ever. The front desk was full of complaints, and the manager had a terrible attitude. Avoid this company!
The car was as expected - clean and in good condition. The wait time for the shuttle varied and depending on how busy the counter staff are, it would affect the time taken to pick up and drop off the car.
Too many hidden charges. They originally said the upgrade would be $15 per day, but it ended up being $70 per day. Typical extortion. There's no use in complaining afterwards. I highly do not recommend using third-party platforms for renting cars; they offer no real value as middlemen.
“Didn't realize I was renting such an old vehicle”
About Yes Rentals:6.0/10
The vehicle was a Toyota yards hybrid. They claim it was a 2013 but it seemed even older than that. Headlight lenses were "fogged over" from age so they weren't very bright at night. The car had numerous scratches & dents.
About QEEQ:8.0/10
The full protection coverage which I decided to purchase through your website because of advertising a better deal would have been cheaper to purchase at the counter at Yes Rental ($22NZD/day)
One issue I didn't understand was the insurance. I believe I paid QEEQ as the agent sufficient funds to ensure full coverage and no excess. On pick up I was asked for a $3000 bond and told any damage etc would be taken from that bond. I would then approach QEEQ for a claim on insurance paid with you. Turns out there were no issues, but I still don't get it?
SNAP were great. We phoned them from the airport and they were there within minutes to pick us up and take us to collect our vehicle. Staff were very friendly and the service was fast.
Airport desk was a little understaffed on pickup. Upgrade to SUV verry much appreciated!
Booster seats were not so clean and material a bit frayed etc.
I booked because it included zero deductible collision and theft insurance, but at the car rental location, they insisted there was no such coverage. Even with the voucher from Zuzuche, the staff couldn't read Chinese and stubbornly insisted there wasn't zero deductible coverage. At the time, Zuzuche couldn't provide immediate help to solve the issue, so I felt scammed (either rent a car without insurance or pay extra for it).
“Car rental was very good.
Hybrid car was great.
I took good care.”
About Budget:10.0/10
I was worried about checking car for damage at pick up, as it was raining and hard to check .
I did take photos.
Luckily we had a short trip this time and I took care of th e car.
I was given a hybrid car and it was very good.

Everything went OK.
Thanks.
I'm using QEEQ Again soon in Australia do hoping for another Hybrid car Please.
I rented a small two-door Toyota hybrid. I accidentally backed into something and damaged the rear bumper and trunk, and they assessed the damage at $6500. This car isn’t even worth that much! They demanded I pay $3500. Everyone please be cautious! Tianyi Car Rentals specifically targets and exploits Chinese people. The claim that 'Chinese people don't cheat Chinese people' is a lie! Even a new car like this only costs a little over $10,000! Be wary of these unscrupulous businesses.
Great value and friendly service. Only problem was it didn't have full tank. Got stuck buying fuel at the ski resort at $30 for 5 litres next day. Cars should be provided with full tank.
