The pick up was super quick and we got upgraded at pick up, the car was great, completely new and worked as expected

Overall the booking experience was quick
Just one thing, we got the insurance through QEEQ but the car rental company didnt see it as a valid insurance so we had to pay a 2300€ deposit.. it was fine because in case something happened we were covered and we could file a claim but it seemed overly cumbersome
Could not get the car, CARWIZ is a terrible company. They didn't accept an English notarization, even though the companion with an international driver’s license was allowed. The owner refused to rent to us because our Chinese credit card did not have 'credit card' labeled in English. We called customer service on-site, and although they communicated with the owner, the owner claimed he never received the prepayment when we asked about a refund. The payment was through the Zuzuche platform, so the owner agreed to cancel the order but required an email from Zuzuche to his company. However, Zuzuche's after-sales service could only intervene after the order ended. So, the order had to be completed, and we couldn't negotiate with the rental company. After the order ended, Zuzuche told me that the conclusion of after-sales service was no refund. The prepayment was with Zuzuche, but since the rental company refused to refund, they were going to transfer the money to the rental company. Now, they need proof from me that the rental company promised a refund. Thank you for teaching me a lesson. Thanks, everyone.
This was my first time renting a car, and the process was very efficient. The parking lot was about 200 meters away from the hotel where we were staying. I didn't expect that my first car rental would be upgraded to an Audi A3 for free. The car was very new with only 10,000 kilometers on it. The interior was also very new, and we drove it for three days.
The overall road conditions in Serbia are quite good, though there were a few sections under repair. In general, driving in Serbia is very convenient. If you plan to drive into countries like Bosnia and Herzegovina, you will need to pay an additional fee. Returning the car was also quick and easy. Overall, this self-driving experience was excellent.
I've had issues both times at this rental car company's airport pickup point. If you pick up the car earlier but return it at the same time (e.g., booking from 10am to the next day 10am, but picking up at 8:30am and returning at 8:30am the next day), you will be charged an extra day's fee. Take note!!!! Additionally, the airport branch's working hours are until 10pm local time, and picking up the car after 10pm incurs a service fee of 36 euros. Sharing my 2 experiences for your reference.
There was absolutely no service provided. Due to being late by just one hour, I was charged for an entire day. The most crucial part is that the fee was based on their system's price, not the actual rental price. The fee charged was three times the actual rental price! Moreover, when returning the car, I discovered a missing piece. Fortunately, I had taken photos of the car beforehand. After repeated confirmation, they merely said that if you didn't check carefully before taking the car, any issues found later are considered your fault. Completely speechless!
Very satisfied with the rental company. It is a local company in Croatia with no upselling or extra charges. I only paid the deposit with a credit card on the day I picked up the car. During the inspection in the parking lot, I found two small paint chips and a noise from the rear wiper, all of which were documented. Due to a change in our itinerary, we returned the car a day early without informing the company. We arrived at 1:00 PM on a holiday when the company had closed at 12:00 PM. We contacted the staff by phone who instructed us to leave the car in the company's parking lot and hand the keys and documents to the security guard. We couldn't inspect the car in person, which made me a bit concerned. After calling QEEQ customer service, they guided me through a series of photos that reassured me. Two days later, I received a text message stating that the vehicle inspection was successful. Perfect.
Upon a friend's recommendation, I tried using the Zuzuche platform for overseas car rental for the first time and had a distressing experience. We arrived at the pick-up location on time, only to wait for an hour and a half, and were given a car in terrible condition, with extremely old interior, dirty seats, and a filthy steering wheel. It was a manual transmission vehicle, more like a farm vehicle, and likely pulled from temporary inventory by the rental company. This was nothing like the Mercedes V-Class or similar car we had reserved. The staff indicated this was the only available car. After waiting for an hour and a half, we reluctantly accepted it to avoid affecting our subsequent plans. Having not driven a manual for over twenty years, it was quite challenging, and there were several dangerous moments in city traffic. Moreover, Zuzuche provided completely incorrect return instructions and phone number for the location, making us search for over an hour. Fortunately, the hotel front desk staff helped contact the rental company, but it wasted half a day. The entire experience, from pick-up to car condition to drop-off, was painful. This was the worst car rental I've had abroad, affecting my driving experience and delaying my plans. Additionally, when submitting an evaluation, I had to select a car model to proceed. Since the car I used wasn't listed, I could only choose a small Volkswagen, which does not reflect the actual car I used.
Based on a friend's recommendation, I used the Zuzuche platform to rent a car abroad for the first time and had an awful experience. We arrived at the store on time to pick up the car, but ended up waiting an hour and a half. We were then given a car in terrible condition - the interior was old, the seats and steering wheel were filthy, and it was a manual transmission. It felt more like a farm vehicle, and it was likely a last-minute substitution from the rental company, which was nothing like the Mercedes V-class or similar model we had reserved. The staff said this was the only car available. We reluctantly accepted it after waiting so long to avoid delaying our trip further. I hadn't driven a manual for over 20 years and struggled with it, facing frequent dangerous situations in city traffic. To make matters worse, the return location and phone number provided by Zuzuche were completely wrong, leaving us searching for over an hour. Eventually, the hotel front desk helped us contact the rental company, which wasted half a day. From pickup to the car model to return, it was a terrible experience. This was the worst car rental experience I’ve had abroad, affecting my self-driving experience and delaying my trip. Note: I had to select a car model to submit this review, but there was no option for the actual car I used, so I selected a Volkswagen, which doesn't match what I rented.
They gave me a car that seemed brand new, with less than 100 kilometers driven. If you're going to the mountainous areas in southern Serbia, I strongly recommend getting full insurance. Some roads there are very narrow, especially the roads leading in and out of the UVAC canyon. It's inevitable that you might brush against the roadside bushes when passing other vehicles, which could leave scratches on the car. This company is extremely meticulous when inspecting the vehicle upon return. It's the most thorough inspection I've ever seen. When I returned the car, there was a barely noticeable scratch under the right side door, and they charged me over 800 euros for it (I only had basic insurance).
Carwiz were great, the staff were professional, informative and friendly. The car was excellent; clean, modern and reliable.
About QEEQ:8.0/10
The booking platform worked excellently overall. My only issue was a lack of smoothness inputting travel into foreign countries, but this was a minor issue as I sorted it out with the hire company on pickup.
