Very convenient. After getting off the plane, it's very close to pick up the car. Returning the car is also very convenient. After returning the car, you can go straight to the airport. The car was in great condition, but it took a while to find a gas station on the way back, which was a bit of a headache.
The staff at the store were very friendly and patient. Communication in English was smooth. There was a minor accident during the car rental, but it was handled well. I recommend buying QEEQ's comprehensive insurance. The whole process was great.
Like: I would like them to show some details about car music system like synchronise my mobile phone so that I can hear my music and talk with my friends.
Picked up the car at Don Mueang Airport. The staff was friendly and enthusiastic. I don't speak Thai or English, so we communicated mostly through gestures and guesses. Some services might not have been available to me due to the language barrier, but the car pickup and return went very smoothly. The rental fee and deposit were pre-authorized on my credit card. The rental fee was deducted upon return, and the deposit was refunded to my credit card after twelve days. I am very satisfied.
The location is easy to find. After exiting Don Mueang Airport, you can see a row of car rental counters. The staff at the counters are middle-aged men and women who provide serious service without upselling additional expenses. An older gentleman checked the car and helped with the luggage.
Pickup: The procedures took over 20 minutes as the staff's English was very poor, making communication difficult. Additionally, other staff members were aggressively selling additional insurance.
Returning the car: The location was very hard to find, so I had to park nearby and wait for someone from the rental company to drive it. The middle-aged, slightly overweight man who helped claimed there was a scratch on the car, which was already there when I picked it up, and charged me 1500BHT. Due to time constraints, I initially paid him 300 RMB to avoid missing my flight, but later returned to confront him and the staff. The man had not reported the payment to the company, and it was clearly an attempt to pocket the money. After some discussion, the duty manager returned the 300 RMB to me.
Tips: Ensure you record the car's condition when picking it up and video any discussions if issues arise.
The wait time was very long, there was no upgrade to a better model, UnionPay cards were not accepted, it was not a self-service pickup, there was no Chinese service, it was not available 24/7, there was no free shuttle service, no door-to-door service, not a self-service drop-off, and there was no nearby gas station, plus there were attempts to upsell.
In addition to credit and debit cards, you can now pay for online car rentals with cryptocurrency! Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) are accepted. Curious about how long a Bitcoin transaction takes or how to pay with Bitcoin? Read our FAQs for more details.
