Absolute cheats..had a full insurance bought while booking..still charged 180 pounds without informing me..later said that I shud have read all the terms b4 signing...strangely enough the receipt does not show the amount anywhere..just a tick where it says need full insurance..
Didn't have my chosen car group when I got there, offered me a massive 7 seater truck which I didn't want and I had to wait over an hour for a car to be returned. It wasn't washed properly or hoovered inside. On the plus side it was perfectly OK and a nice car to drive so I wasn't too bothered but it definitely could have cleaned better
“What an utter disaster. Watched three people in front of me, desperate for a car and being ripped.”
About Easirent:2.0/10
Shambolic.
Watched three people infront of me being ripped off. They were desperate for a car, and had to pay an extra £45 per day to take out the excess cover.
I wasn't desperate, so when they tried it with me, I had to walk out.
You pay for what you get. It looks cheap, but they Will rip you off.
There were no signs for Easirent at the airport shuttle at Glasgow, so we didn’t know we were in the right place. We have rented with the company before so made sure all of our paperwork was in order. Be careful driving because any fines or tickets will incur a £55 admin cost. The car we got (black Peugeot) was dusty on the outside and had many small scratches and obvious scuffs, but the attendant let us go over the car thoroughly and he noted all of the defects. This is why our pick up took nearer 20 mins. I guess this is why the price is so low, but the car itself was in good condition and we had no problems driving it. Car had a dash cam, which we found reassuring. Drop off was fine, they noted no problems, and we were back on the airport shuttle within 10 minutes. Overall, decent car (if not scratched), friendly service and thorough. I like that they didn’t rush us when checking over the car on pick-up. But be careful when driving as penalty costs are high! And they could have done with a sign at Glasgow airport.
Online booking stated there would be no need to purchase insurance, but counter staff insisted it was only possible to insure through them, costing £40 a day.
Nothing was written to me explaining that I had to have 2 proofs of address. I was really annoying. I almost give up renting it. Please make sure you inform your costumers
“I was abused but the manager when I got to the rental place - I was made pay £105 more!!”
About Easirent:3.3/10
Horrific - made me pay more - I couldn’t even afford to eat that night because of it. Scammers the lot of them!! Verbally abused - swore at - shouted at -
I pointed out that their office had cctv and he stopped shouting and swearing - after all that the car was dirty. When I left the car back they demanded they see my fuel receipt and told me if I didn’t have it to prove that I got fuel within a 5 mile radius that I wouldn’t get my £95 fuel deposit back!! Ever heard of gdpr?! AVOID
“Worst customer service experience from the lady at counter Ms Huma. Attitude very uncustomer friendl”
About Easirent:7.0/10
Worst customer service experience from the lady at counter Ms Huma. Attitude very uncustomer friendly, lazy and uninterested. Made the experience painful & put me off dealing with easirent ever. The woman needs to be put on other duties, certainly not anything dealing with customers. This could have been an entirely different experience if it wasn't for the booking experience at the counter with Ms Huma at the Manchester Airport branch.
Waited about an hour to be served so was late for my work. Car was dirty as pressure washer was not working so it was difficult to check condition of the vehicle. The previous renter obviously was a smoker as there was ash over the windows. A very poor attempt at cleaning the vehicle and an absolutely terrible amount of time waiting to be served. I won’t use this company again
“Woman with red hair at front desk is a liability to your company”
About Easirent:2.0/10
Never picked up the car because the woman at your front desk never told me about the “unlimited miles” option and told me I would be responsible for 69 cents for every mile over 100 miles per day. She was awfully rude, yelled at me about where I parked because it was my first time there . Spoke to Bruce on customer service and he opened up a claim to get my money back seeing as the woman never properly explained how to do unlimited option for
Miles which I needed
