Even communication is a little bit harder but have excellent service.

Waited nearly an hour

Collection of the car was very simple. There was a long queue but I was able to use the Self Service machine and not require to speak to any members of Alamo staff. The return was just as simple. I pulled up, removed my luggage and walked away into the Terminal.

Easyrentcars.com was able to give me a great price on the vehicle. It was also with a big company so i did not need to find a small operation with little support. Esayrentcars.com and Alamo where great.

I could’ve given a perfect 10 rating if it wasn’t for the counter staff at thrifty. He was so pushy in selling us the insurance coverage despite us paying it through easy car rentals, which could’ve resulted to paying twice on insurance. The queue was getting long for the other customers and he still carried in with his upsells.

Very convenient

The accident occurred around 4:00 PM on July 14th. After the accident, we tried contacting Thrifty car rental multiple times, but no one answered the phone. Even after the Las Vegas police issued the accident report at 5:58 PM, we still couldn't reach Thrifty. The police then called a tow truck to the scene, but the customer service from Zuzuche back in China advised us not to let the police tow the car. The temperature in Las Vegas that day was as high as 40°C, and we waited in the heat for a long time. It wasn't until 10:00 PM that Thrifty’s customer service contacted us. A tow truck finally arrived at 2:40 AM the next morning to take the car away. Our group of 10 was exhausted by the time we returned to the hotel. The 10-hour wait for assistance is completely incompatible with the service image of a major company like Zuzuche. This made us extremely uneasy about the remaining 10 days of our trip. Many places in the US (regular roads, highways, and tourist attractions) have no cell phone signal. If similar incidents were to occur during our trip, we might be in life-threatening or helpless situations. This led us to return the other car to the Las Vegas store early. We are extremely dissatisfied with your powerless apologies.

The rental car is cheaper than I expected. No light was in the car. The windows and doors locks all were manual. I'd waited for more than 30 mins for the shuttle car pickup (I was the 2nd customer pickup) and another 10 mins to pick up the 3rd customer. Waiting for 10~15 mins for the rental car paperwork.

Due to personal reasons, I couldn't pick up the car on time. Hertz did not inform me, and when I went to the store the next day, they said there were no available cars and asked me to come back in the afternoon. When I arrived in the afternoon, they gave me a downgraded car, a Corolla, and told me to go to another Hertz location to get the car I booked. The staff also insisted I buy insurance, even though I had already bought full insurance through Zuzuche.

Alamo insisted that I must buy extra a liability fee of $14 per day, otherwise I can’t rent the car.

The counter staff lied to our faces, about extra insurances and gas prices and tried to bill an additional $100usd. Useless. Dishonest. Will not use thrifty again.

Was so easy, will definitely use this system again.

Helped solve the problem

Only thing missing were how to handle tolls on highways with the device installed in the vehicle and how to pay the tolls after rental. Also it could be nice to have a more clear overview of requirements regarding insurance, it’s always a jungle!

No comments all worked just fine

The process was fairly quick, but I hoped to return the car half an hour late because my flight was delayed, and they did not respond.
