1. The pickup location couldn't find the reservation, and we were directed to another branch; 2. The car class was downgraded, we got a SKODA FABIA in poor condition, unsuitable for driving in the Black Forest area; 3. The designated return spot at the central station was insufficient, requiring a long queue at the only counter to fill out forms, almost missed the train; 4. The actual rental company was EUROPCAR. At pickup, another family was also complaining about poor service... Haha!
The Europcar Munich branch, which cooperates with Shouqi Car Rental, has two arrogant employees. The female manager of the branch covers up for the malicious vehicle upgrades carried out by her subordinates. When I requested to swap back to the reserved vehicle, they deliberately downgraded the vehicle class and used the excuse of no automatic transmission to make things difficult. They have double standards for Westerners and Chinese; they explain every clause to Westerners but give the Chinese customers a German version instead of an English one, misleading them about the deposit vs. upgrade fee. When asked if there were any extra charges, they verbally said no. After being caught, they forcibly claimed that signing meant confirmation and refused to refund.
Communication in English was very clear. An international driver's license, local driver's license, credit card, and address and phone number were required. The process was smooth.
When we arrived at the train station, we couldn't reach the car rental company. The Deutsche Bahn customer service didn't have any record of our reservation. We waited for 20 minutes until an employee from the rental company showed up, but he couldn't speak English. It took us over an hour to get the car, wasting a lot of time. As a result, we missed several attractions. Why would a rental company that can't speak English offer international rental services?

We had a lot of luggage for 4 people, booked a Mercedes E-Class Estate, but were given an Alfa SUV. The luggage didn't fit, so we had to squeeze into the back seats.
