Vehicle downgrade without reason, rental company tried to deceive, nearly 3 hours late

Even though only one person was in line ahead, it took a long time to get to me

Arrived early, but the shop was not open. Called to inquire, and they said someone would handle it when the scheduled pickup time arrived.

Overall, everything was satisfactory. However, the daily mileage limit of 241 kilometers was not consistent with urocar's requirement of 150 kilometers. Additionally, the online waiting time for addressing issues was too long.

Since it was handled by Eurocar, the queue took about half an hour, and the process nearly an hour. Please be mindful of the time.

The car rental company downgraded our car and asked us to coordinate with the website.

Picking up the car was okay, but returning it was a nightmare. We arrived more than an hour in advance, but the return shop was closed with no staff around, even though the listed return location claimed to be open 24 hours. We were not informed about how to return the car or where to park it. After calling customer service and going through extensive communication, we were told it might be a self-service return. We eventually asked someone and located the parking area, then dropped the keys into the rental company's key box at the back door. Upon returning home, I found that more than 2000 was held on my rental card, but only 189 was refunded. When I inquired with customer service, they gave vague answers and mentioned it was a late return fee. I was completely at a loss. There was no late return, and even if there was, charging over 2000 is unreasonable.

No Chinese service, the return location was closed without prior notice, and the phone couldn't be reached.

I rented two Mercedes E-Class cars, but was given an A-Class and a Hyundai hatchback instead, and they kept insisting they were the same category. Later they claimed as long as it's a Mercedes, it's fine. When we pointed out one was a Hyundai, they had no explanation. We ended up not picking up the car, had to call international customer service to switch companies, wasted three hours and almost an hour on international calls. Terrible service.

The rental location was relatively easy to find, had to wait a bit during pickup, but overall it was convenient and fast.

The staff was alright; it was early in the morning so there weren't many people. I rented an Audi A4 wagon, but they gave me a Passat wagon, which runs on diesel. They claimed it came with a built-in navigation system, so no additional GPS was needed. I didn't bother to argue. Later, I realized diesel is more expensive than petrol in Europe...

Forced to buy insurance to change the car model

Since the pickup was not at the airport, there were very few people. Considering the efficiency of British service, it was relatively quick. However, the return process at the airport was indeed fast, possibly because of having full insurance.

The staff were extremely rude and ignored customer requests. They downgraded my reserved Mercedes E-Class to a small Toyota without permission. The staff also did not inform me that driving in central London requires a congestion fee.
