Overall, it was pretty good. The customer service representative was very patient during the communication process. In the end, they provided two parking cards in case one malfunctioned.
The staff was extremely arrogant. The car was already very old, with almost 80,000 kilometers on it, and should not be rented out. On the fifth day of driving, the central door lock broke, and we needed towing assistance. Even the towing service couldn't help, and the car was towed away.
We picked up the car in Paris. During the trip, a dashboard alert indicated that AdBlue needed to be refilled. Later, we drove to Nice Airport, where they replaced the car for us. Finally, we returned the car at Paris Airport. Avis's service wasn't great—they charged us for fuel even though we returned the car with a full tank. Luckily, we had photos as proof, and the money was eventually refunded.
Very satisfied. Rented for two days and drove 1000km. The car was very easy to drive, though it took some time to get used to driving a manual for the first time. The car had no issues.
Overall, it was okay. The price was quite reasonable during the Olympics. The car was very new, and being a hybrid, it was super fuel-efficient. Currently still waiting for the traffic violation fee bill, which feels quite troublesome.
It was great. Since we were a group of five, we booked a large car. The Volvo we reserved wasn’t available, so we got a Peugeot 408 sport model instead. It worked out fine as it was also a new car. Be sure to read more tips and experiences in the review section. Before departure, follow Avis's email to register your personal and credit card details. When you reach the pickup point, you can verify your passport and get the keys without any hassle. The process was incredibly smooth.
Unable to mirror Google Maps onto the screen, had to hold the phone throughout the trip. Paid insurance for six days, but charged for seven because I picked up the car an hour early. I also returned the car an hour early.
