Bought full insurance, no forced insurance required! There's a purple sign at the exit of Los Angeles Airport, wait there for the shuttle to the rental station. Returning the car in Las Vegas was painful, it's hard to find the airport drop-off spot, we circled around several times.
Terrible service, car hadmt been cleaned.
When we returned it I left my tablet in there with valuable photos. I called an hour later and they said they couldn’t find it so one of their employees checking the car will have taken it for themselves I would never use thrifty again.
Long wait. staff was inefficient and not welcoming. They almost forced us to purchase the full tank option. The bus ride was too long and dropped us at wrong terminal!
The car was ok.
The shuttle bus makes you lose patience. Even though we were waiting at the rental car shuttles spot, several buses just passed by without stopping. Totally frustrating. Called customer service but they were unhelpful and had no intention to resolve the issue. In the end, we had to take the Dollar shuttle.
There should be more detailed instructions either at the airport or on QEEQ. If I hadn't read the user reviews, I would have almost taken the wrong bus.
Didn’t get the car I booked Chrysler 300, got yelled at and forced to take a Chev impala instead. I travelled from Australia to do an iconic drive from LA to Sam Fran only be let down by a rude lady when picking the car up.
“Got cheated by staff to buy unnecessary insurance”
About Thrifty:4.3/10
Got cheated by staff to by unnecessary insurance. The staff told us we have to buy insurance from them as it is required by the Law even we have shown that we bought our own insurance package at easyrentcars.
This company is very reliable, and the cars are very new. The car I rented this time had only a little over twelve thousand miles. Last year, my wife and her friends rented a Suburban with just over five thousand miles. During this trip, a small stone flew and created a tiny hole in the windshield, but it was very easy to exchange the car in San Francisco. QEEQ's service was also very timely and thorough. Kudos to them.
