Staff are very friendly and accommodating, our flight were late, they were able to pick us up and take us to KLIA1 to pick up the vehicle. Drop off process are easy to follow, will definitely rent from them again.
About QEEQ:10.0/10
Easy to use app and booking process are very easy.
There is no counter at T2, it was a bit hard to find the parking lot in Kuala Lumpur as it was my first time there and no one answered the phone. Eventually, I contacted the rental company for assistance.
“Good, but needs improvements with car of this price.”
About ASIA CAR:8.0/10
The car was about average, roughly 2-3 years old but with relatively high mileage. Interior was clean and the drive's fairly smooth, but the engine was a bit noisy (have driven many Civics before).
There were also many scratches around the body and rims.
Considering the amount paid for this car/category, we weren't too happy given the above.
We had expected for a newer or better maintained car. Hope to see improvements in the future.
Our flight to Kuala Lumpur arrived quite late. After paying an extra 150 MYR for the late fee, we successfully picked up the car. It was a small car with 140,000 kilometers on it. Honestly, you wouldn't find such high mileage cars being rented out in our country. We used it for three days and it was just about okay. We rented a local Touch 'n Go card for toll payments, costing 30 MYR for three days. We ended up over-recharging it, and couldn't retrieve the balance. When returning the car, the remaining balance was still on the card, so make sure to load less as toll costs are cheap. The main issue was returning the car; we made more than 20 calls with no answer, causing our flight to be delayed. Ultimately, we left the keys at another rental counter, which had much better service. They later explained that they missed our calls because their phone died. It was a frustrating experience and it seems like Southeast Asia is not yet ready to properly welcome tourists post-pandemic.
