This time they gave me an almost brand-new car, the overall experience was very good.

Easy and great service. We decided to extend our car rental for 2 extra days. One phone call after hours up manager of budget and was organised. As it should be. No stress, easy. One thing on renting a car in the winter in a place like Whitehorse I would have imagined the cars would be all fitted with winter tyres. We found it difficult to access our Airbnb and drive g on many of the smaller roads around Whitehorse with summer tyres.

Budget's service was excellent! No queues, all the paperwork was handled and the car was ready on arrival.

The car we rented this time was supposedly from the airport, it was very dirty and not cleaned properly. They wouldn't give us a replacement, quite unsatisfactory.

Arrived at the car rental location on time, only to be offered a lower grade vehicle. They insisted it was an SUV as per the reservation. After over an hour of negotiation, the manager finally intervened and provided the reserved model.

The pickup location is in the lobby on the first floor of the Hilton Hotel in Old Quebec.

From picking up the car to returning it, it was a pleasant process. The staff were very friendly. On the return day, we woke up late and were nearly an hour late. They didn't charge us for the extra time (at least that's what they said, we'll see when the deposit is refunded). They even gave us extra time to refuel.

I've used their service many times and am familiar with the staff. The service at the city branch is good, but the airport branch is just average, possibly due to the pandemic.
