Please contact the staff to pick you up to ESSENCE - Orlando - Airport (florida) car hire when you arrived.

For immediate pick-up, please make sure you have all of your luggage in hand and then call us directly at 407-574-3004. Our complimentary shuttle will pick you up on Level 1 within ten minutes and transport you to our office located only one mile from the airport. Please know which side of the airport you are on (A Side or B side) so that we can let you know exactly where the shuttle will pick you up from.

Value Car Rental offers free shuttle service at Orlando International Airport. For immediate pick-up, please have all of your luggage in hand and call us from any courtesy phone ext.: 463 or directly at 407-574-3004. Our shuttle will pick you up on Level One within fifteen minutes and transport you to our office located one mile from the airport. Like: I was skeptical at first to book with Value cars after reading their reviews. But to my surprise, the pickup was done from the airport in about 10 minutes after I called them and the Office staff were friendly. All the documentation formalities were completed in about 15 minutes. The car was clean inside and out. Returning the car was done in less than 10 minutes. It was a good experience this time. May be I was just lucky !! :-) I will surely go with them again.
Dislike: There was only one person at the reception who takes care of customers. If there are multiple customers waiting, it might take some time to get the documentation done.

Upon arrival we were offered an upgrade in which we were told $80 total usd. When we asked her if this was on top of the old amout she stated it was the total with everything. She asked if we would travel through tolls, we told her we may or may not travel once to Tampa to see the beach. She stated for $8.99 we could have a fast pass in case we incur any tolls. When we said Disney area was the only place we would be, other than possibly the one trip to Tampa, she told us it would be worth getting. We went through 1 toll and were charged over $71usd! Totally lied to and ripped off! I will never rent a car through here again and will highly NOT RECOMMEND this company!

According to the emailed reservation confirmation from Easyrentcars the amount due at pickup was $18.64 (including taxes and surcharges). However, I ended up having to pay around $240! The biggest surprise fee was $109 for a collision damage waiver which I was told nothing about before hand. I believe telling the customer that they will be paying $19 at pickup and charging them over $200 is highly unethical.

Final bill was almost double what I thought I had rented the car for. When we got there to pick up car. They told us we were getting a 2 door Ford Fiesta. And we had to upgrade to a 4 door vehicle at additional cost. But in reality I had already rented a 4 door vehicle and we should not have had to upgrade. Then a whole bunch of other charges which we aren't even sure what they are for. Resulting in bill being almost double. Not real happy. Will not use again.

I paid in advance 3 weeks prior for reservations for a car I was going to need once I got to the airport. The company lost canceled or lost my reservation... and had to seek another car rental which cost more money and over 4 hours of aggravation at the airport. A terrible experience and start to a vacation we planned in advance. Would never refer anyone to this company, was told by other car companies that they are know for doing this like this to other people. I’m seeking to dispute the charge on my credit card. A major pain now deal with all this crap!!

This was the worst car rental experience I have ever had. The car condition was the only thing that was ok, but I purposely rated it lower so that the overall score would be lower because my experience was so bad. They tried to charge me lots of extra money, said I needed to have my actual certificate of insurance on me or they would charge me $500. There were hidden fees, the counter staff member was rude, I had no idea I was even renting from Value Car Rental and not Easyrentcars so it took us forever to find the shuttle because there was no Easyrentcar shuttle.

Value car rental in Orlando, Florida will take advantage on you, not other car rental company that will upgrade your car free. They call it upgrade but the car that they gave it to me is older model with a lot of scratches, no keyless entry and smell stink. Not worth it for forcing us to upgrade. Being located at a Holiday Inn was strange. When I got on a shuttle for the airport @ 5am, I had waited for about 25 mins. I was the first passenger in line and by the time the shuttle to airport provided by Holliday Inn arrived there wasn’t enough room for everyone waiting. After boarding and having people that would have to wait for 30 mins for the shuttle to return the driver asked if there was anyone on board that was from the car rental company, if so we had to exit! To be honest I didn’t say a word because if I had to wait again I might miss my flight. The car rental assured me that there would be no problem using there shuttle because they didn’t open until 6am but unfortunately that proved to be false. The family group of 6 that had just dropped off there car and had to get to the airport where told they would have to wait until there was room left once hotel guest had been taken care of. Over all I really liked the rental company and my car but not having a shuttle running if there own before 6am was unacceptable and caused a big problem.

Value car rental took $ 2,500 from my card for the dent that was on the car before I took it for rent. In the documents when checking the condition the car damage was noted. When I left the car, there were no complaints about the damage. Three days later, they charge me $ 2500. Stay clear of this company!

First we had to wait for the shuttle to take us to the Value desk in side hotel near the airport. There was 2 ladies on the counter. First lady was helping another customer and the second lady was doing paperwork and she told me to wait for her colleague. I had to wait more than 30 mins till she finished with the customer. After that she told me that we will not fit in the Compact car and we need to pay for the upgrade. I told her that we booked intermediate car but she insists that the booking is showing compact car so I had to open the roaming to show her the email confirmation on my phone is for Toyota Corolla. After that she was trying hard to rent me the device for the tolls as I understand from her that most of the highways are using this device. I trusted her and rent it for $9 per day for a week. When she did hold on my credit card I have found it’s more than we agreed but she told me that the extra is for roads fees. I have paid double the amount that was showing in your website. After I picked the car and left the hotel I discovered that there is no tolls device on the front windshield so I had to call her back and she told they forgot to put in the car. In the following day I have realized that there no a lot of tolls so I spoke with a guy in the same location to return the device and to charge me for 1 day only but he refused and told me that I had to pay for the all week. At the end I have paid more than I was expecting.

Not impressed at all and ultimately will not use this company again. The staff were heavily pressuring me to purchase the insurance. And told me I would have to pay $4000 cash when I turned the car in if their were any damages. I also had no idea I would have to put a $300 deposit since I refused their insurance. It’s refundable, however it’s an expense I was unaware of. And the rental car ended up being double what it was priced at. Bottom line, my experience with them gave me severe anxiety at the beginning of my trip it also took about 20/25mins to get the car and be on our way.

The staff at the counter was helpful, but tried her very hard to sell us the insurance and EZPass. We have comprehensive coverage from our insurance so we didn't need one from this company. However, she lied as to tell as that there are many tolls to pass (even just going to Disney), and if we miss a toll the ticket is very expensive. Of course, this made us think twice and purchased $8.99 per day for the EZ Pass (for 9 days that we were there). Lo and behold, the only toll we passed is coming from the airport and going back to the airport. So for 7 days we were paying for an unused EZPass. The van (Dodge Caravan) is very spacious and clean. It is fast and quiet. No issues there.

I was charged an extra fee when picking up the vehicle. I asked about the vehicle I had originally reserved and he said that it also said "or similar" and said that was the only vehicle available. The vehicle must have just came in, seats were stained (was not cleaned) and had visible damages. If it was not 7pm, I would have asked for my money back and found other transportation.

The counter staff when we picked up the car was very friendly, but a bit slow. When we got our car I said it smelled funny, they said it was a car spray. The smell turned to a smokey smell after the spray wore off. Thankfully we didn't drive long distances, but the small was bad. During pick up it was not mentioned that return shuttles only occur every half hour, whereas pick up was anytime upon request. This would have been good to know.`

My voucher was for $142.65. I declined all extra insurance, gas, etc. When I was handed my bill, it came to $187.79. This is because Value adds, without asking permission, a fee for "RSA" of $3.99 per day. "RSA" apparently is "road side assistance." I immediately told the desk person I did not approve that. She said it was too late to remove this unapproved charge, and I should call their office. This is the second time they have done this to me. This is outright theft. Also, I was told when I returned the car that I would be emailed my final bill, and I wasn't.
