Although not at the airport, there is a shuttle bus service which is very convenient. The handsome guy patiently listened to our broken English and responded, even slowing down his speech!

I prepaid 1392 RMB for a Ford Mondeo. Upon arrival, I was given a Nissan Qashqai instead, without being informed of additional rental costs and numerous extra fees. They charged my credit card 625 euros, which we initially thought was a deposit. Without internet access, we couldn't check emails, and the staff used a very small handheld device, not explaining the crucial charges before asking us to sign. This is outright fraud. We only realized we had been deceived after receiving the receipt upon returning the car. We must file a complaint.

The service from the major rental company was very good. They proactively upgraded us to a larger vehicle when they learned we had a lot of luggage.

I rented from Europcar and my friend rented from AVIS. At Europcar, there were staff at both the pickup and drop-off points in the parking lot. However, at my friend's rental company, sometimes there were staff and sometimes not. The guy at Europcar in Frankfurt train station was great, very enthusiastic, and did not try to up-sell anything.

Renting a car was very convenient, the process was simple, and returning the car was also relatively fast.

The deposit was withheld without explanation. I only realized it several hours later when I received a text message. When I asked about it while returning the car, they finally provided an explanation. The wait time was very long, it seems their business is too good.

There was a constant maintenance reminder. After driving 100KM, the oil light came on, delaying our trip for half a day waiting for assistance. Eventually, we bought oil, then called the next station to confirm we could exchange the car. When we arrived, they refused to replace it, saying the maintenance alert was not an issue. This experience was very disappointing.

The car was in good condition and very new. The pickup process was convenient and fast.
