Waited in line for an hour, the car model I reserved wasn't available, and they gave me a Ford Focus without any explanation. I refused and said this wasn't the car I booked. They said I would need to wait at least another hour for my reserved model. In the end, after waiting another hour, they only provided an electric Mercedes. Charging and driving on the highway in Germany is not convenient.

After a small assessment, I was given an electro auto which was horrible and I needed to change after less than 24 hours. With the temperature in Frankfurt the battery does not last and the provided plug in the car for charging was a home one. It would have needed like 30 hrs for charging.

I booked the rental car two months in advance and called Europcar before departure to confirm that there would be no issues picking up the car at the store. I rented an automatic BMW X1 and scheduled to pick it up at 10 AM. However, when I arrived at the store, they told me there were no cars available, not even the automatic ones, except for a Volkswagen Golf and other manual cars. I explicitly mentioned that the Golf couldn't fit our luggage, and we don't drive manual cars back home. After much argument, I finally got a significantly downgraded Toyota CHR at 11:30 AM. Despite the pre-authorization being lifted after returning the car, without any notification or email, they directly charged 87 euros. I am currently disputing the transaction.

1. The breakdown and origins of each fee were unclear. I never received the contract after picking up the car. They said they'd email it in 3-4 hours, but I never got it. The detailed invoice was only provided when returning the car, and it wasn't clear enough; 2. We booked a Volkswagen, but they gave us a CUPRA at the same price, despite having reserved the Volkswagen well in advance and arriving on time. The car rental company switched our car under various pretexts, which was unreasonable and resulted in extra costs; 4. On the return day, the car was fully refueled and had no issues, yet the invoice included a full tank refueling charge... 5. We only agreed to the full insurance, an additional driver fee, and the cross-border fee for driving out of Germany. No other charges should have been applied. Besides the 5200 RMB for the rental, my credit card was overcharged by an additional 8000 RMB, with excessive extra fees.

Arrived an hour early to pick up the car, only to be told that the model I reserved wasn't available. I was offered an upgrade to a higher-end model for an additional 14 euros per day, or I could wait another hour. Reluctantly, I waited another hour. Other Chinese travelers on the same flight faced the same issue. An hour later, I came back to pick up the car and was informed that the BMW X2 was still unavailable. They only had a BMW 216 in the same class, but I argued that the website indicated the same class vehicles did not include the BMW 216, and the rear space of the 216 is significantly smaller than that of the X2. My argument was ignored, and I had no choice but to upgrade to a BMW 318, paying an extra 14 euros per day. During this time, I made a special trip to the garage to see the car, only to be given the wrong key, making the trip pointless. They also suggested I buy additional insurance, which I declined. Overall, it took two hours to pick up the car. Their attitude was not exactly bad, but I wouldn't call it friendly either. The entire experience was very poor! In the end, I paid a lot more for a car that I didn't expect.

When I booked the car, it was supposed to be an automatic fuel car. However, the store claimed that the order did not specify automatic and fuel, and they offered an electric car instead. The rental company did not clearly indicate the user's requirements on the order. Although there were options to choose the model when paying, these were not reflected on the order. This misleads the user's requirements and does not match the reality. Overall, I felt deceived.
