The service attitude was very poor. I don’t know if it was because I am Chinese or Asian, but the staff spoke to me in a very sharp and raised voice. The rental hall was quiet, and everyone’s eyes were on me. Did I say something inappropriate? I just asked why I was told I would be charged for a full tank of gas when I was supposed to return it with a full tank. After answering impatiently, they didn’t stop and continued to complain loudly about why I needed so long to read the contract. Is it such a waste of time if I check the contract for five minutes? How else would I know if there are problems? Do you really need to attract everyone's attention?
Firstly, the pickup address didn't match the one provided in the order. It was supposed to be 74, but it was actually 100, which cost us half an hour. Secondly, the first car they gave us was broken. The rental company handed me the keys, and when I went to the garage to collect the car from the intermediary, I found it was broken. The intermediary didn't care, so I had to walk 300 meters back to the rental company to get a replacement car, which took another hour. Lastly, after admitting the car issue and apologizing for their service attitude, the new car had only 6 liters of fuel when it should have had a full tank of 52 liters. When returning the car, they refused to refund the fuel difference, implying it was my bad luck to get a broken car. Seriously?
The staff couldn't clearly and directly answer questions, mistakenly handled my return process, and called me hours after I had already returned the car to ask if I had done so.
Due to communication issues between Zuzuche and Hertz, I didn't get the car at all. I waited for two hours and had to rent a manual vehicle from Europcar at a higher cost. Extremely dissatisfied with the service provided by Hertz and Zuzuche!
The staff at the Florence city center had terrible attitudes and were impatient. No one assisted us with the car inspection during pickup. When returning the car at Bologna airport, the signs were unclear. We drove to the airport's arrivals parking, went inside to ask for directions, and wasted another 20 minutes to finally find the return location. There were many customers, but only one staff member was available.
Overall it was okay, but they mentioned a traffic violation that couldn't be verified. They charged an administrative fee but didn't provide any further information.
