BARGAIN CAR RENTAL REVIEWS

They are competent and have lots of car, but the shuttle service and process times need a huge lot of work. More than 2 hours to be picked up (despite booking the shuttle as per their instructions) and to get the car is just beyond ridiculous.

Basic service. Bargain Sydney is not as helpfull as in Coolangatta or Hobart. Bargain Sydney shuttle van had little space for luggage and no help from drivers

Have QEEQplatform a number of times and saved hundreds of dollars compared to booking direct with car hire companies

Very happy with the car. Easy to drive. The process to pick up and drop off the car was very smooth at the counter and finding the car was easy and so was the drop off. Very smooth. We allowed 30 minutes for the drop off and we did it in less than 10!

Super customer service - very clear and relevant communications - and they provide great deals and transparency.

The counter staff were very pushy on insurance upsell. He tried to convince me that my travel insurance and CC insurance would not cover my excess. He then went on to tell me that if I was in an accident I would have to pay the daily rate while the car was off the road and my insurance would not cover it. I didn't believe so I called the call centre, and they confirmed this to be true. I won't be using them again for this reason. The other issue was that I could not inspect the car properly due to rain and there was no where under cover to park.

DON'T USE GOOGLE MAPS LINK FROM SMS. IT DIDN'T WORK. GAVE ME THE WRONG DIRECTIONS. USE INFORMATION LINK SMS ONLY. CUSTOMER SERVICE DID NOTHING WHEN I TOLD THEM.

The shuttle guys in both directions were great , they ran out of space so we had to wait for the next one but it was not long at all, it was a good system

OK. What is Price Drop Protector?

The pick up and drop off process took 60-75 minutes from reaching the airport to departing with the car (and vice versa). Extremely slow due to the shuttle process (waited 30-45 minutes both ways). The counter staff is reasonably pleasant, but the shuttle service is quite poor. The ideal service would be to wait less than 10 minutes on each side and this is far from that!

Car was MG3, not inspiring but adequate for the purpose. Agent tried hard to upsell additional insurance which we did not want.

Just found out after booking Bargains car was told if accident occurred would need to claim online thru Qeeq.

I specifically asked how they treat toll roads and I was advised that it was a $5 per day fee. But it was a $5 per toll extra fee and the admin fee was more than the car hire. I paid about $100 in admin fees whereas the car hire was only $60.

The process was easy and the staff were great but unfortunately the cars were not clean

Love the app. It made it easy to remember important information about rental company such as: name of rental company, dates, times, pick up location etc. I will use for many years to come.
