Like: When I dropped the car off, a Thrifty employee came over and gave us a ride to the terminal. Then once inside, there was a lineup, and he said "Shall I just take the keys and we will send you the receipt?" Yes! Thank you.
Dislike: Had to walk 200 M from the rental desk to the where the car was, but not a huge deal.

Like: Great

Service was very quick, and there were relatively few people in line.

Dislike: the car needed to be vacuumed there were a few french fries on the floor so it had not been cleaned.

Long waiting time. Pushing insurance sales

The staff spoke English too quickly, not considering that we are not frequent English speakers. Suggest slowing down.

Like: Really pleasant customer service.

First: The car’s braking distance was too long, and I had an accident because of it. Furthermore, the follow-up service to the accident was not transparent. I detailed the accident process, but did not receive any update on the handling result, and 500 CAD was deducted from me. At pickup, the staff urged me to buy additional insurance, or else they required a 500 CAD pre-authorization. I chose the latter, and the staff seemed to know that the car had a higher probability of accidents. Additionally, other branches did not require the purchase of extra insurance.

Dislike: It wasn't clear where I could drop it off.

There wasn't a long line when we arrived, but after being informed we already purchased additional coverage, they still tried to sell us insurance. Although it wasn't mandatory, it felt a bit pushy. However, they patiently helped us check the terms of our purchased insurance and her recommendations to see if there were any overlaps...

A bit of a rip-off. The attendant told me that gas was expensive outside and suggested I return the car with an empty tank, and they would refill it for cheap. However, they charged me for a full tank at their 'cheap' price, so I ended up losing a lot. Make sure to return it with a full tank! Also, their recommendation was not good at all. Who would return a car with an empty tank without worrying about running out of gas on the way to the airport? It wasn't actually cheaper at all, don't listen to them. Additionally, they charged me $15 for airport parking, which was really frustrating.

The car provided was not the same as the one booked. The staff will persuade you to pay extra for an upgrade and the waiting time for the exchange is very long.

Like: The lady at the desk was great! Can’t recall her name, but she was very helpful and friendly.
Dislike: The car we had booked wasn’t available so we’re were given a no charge upgrade.

Like: Received a complimentary upgrade to a compact vehicle
Dislike: Waited 40 minutes for the car to be ready

Like: I got an upgraded vehicle to make up for the wait time!

To be honest, the service from the Black staff was really average. We were the only customers, yet we had to wait for a long time with no apparent reason. The agent worked silently with a stern face, and when we asked a few questions, he seemed irritated. At the end, he tossed the car keys on the desk, mentioned where the car was parked and left. No one accompanied us to fetch the car, so we spent quite some time in the garage looking for it. It felt too casual.
