Inflexibility for adding a couple of hours beyond the exact 24h period - had a later flight to catch. An extra hour would have costed 50% of a full day - that's very poor customer service in my opinion.
Did not handle car hold issues promptly, charged indiscriminately, disregarded customer interests, hard to find help on the phone, each call took over 10 minutes to get answered, encountered a lot of irresponsible people, very unlucky.
When we arrived at the counter, they told us the car model we reserved was not available and offered an upgrade, which we refused. Then they insisted we buy insurance, even though we already had full coverage. They said our insurance bought through Zuzuche was not valid and we had to buy theirs to be covered. Since it was midnight back home and we couldn't call Zuzuche for clarification, we had no choice but to buy their insurance. They also told us our rented car couldn't leave Vancouver without extra charges. We argued but to no avail. We had to pay extra, and the final cost was double the original rental price. We waited another hour to get the car, making the whole experience horrible and extremely unsatisfactory!
Long wait times, difficult to find the location, and even though I filled up the tank at a nearby gas station, due to navigation issues, I had to circle the terminal twice. When returning the car they insisted the tank wasn't full, which seems impossible.
