Be aware, if you return the car even a couple of minutes late, they will charge about $27 per each hour (or fraction of hour). This is the only dissatisfaction I had, as I was a bit late due to road closures for a city marathon event.

The service of the counter staff was horrible. The person does not accept my canadian credit card because my driving license was french. This forced me to pay with my french card and to buy a supplement for the insurance whereas I am covered by my canadian credit card...

I got an upgrade to a Jaguar E-pace which was awesome!! The customer representative was good and wanted to know my requirements in order to provide me a car that matched my requirements. I would go for Budget again.

The booking platform is great! Really simple and easy to book platform.
The front desk staff deliberately upgraded the insurance. Please make sure to read the contract carefully. The contract does not specify 'full coverage' or 'basic' but uses professional jargon instead. Some front desk staff may intentionally upgrade your insurance or vehicle, even if you have clearly stated that you only want the basic package and nothing else. Bad review.
We were going to Niagara Falls for a trip, but none of the company's cars had snow tires. A young employee said the management was in the process of changing them, so they hadn't had time to replace all the fleet's snow tires and also hadn't had time to add new models. This was very disappointing.

I booked a standard car and get a YUKON XL- because they did not have anything smaller and consequently spent about $75 extra on gas! Very disappointed and hope that I will be refunded for the extra gas

- manquait l'antenne : signalé à la réception mais la personne n'a rien fait pour autant - vu la qualité de réception, j'ai été obligé d'en achetée une....
- une TRES forte odeur de tabac dans le véhicule, très désagréable pour des non fumeurs !
The Indian lady wasn't very nice, but later their manager, a young guy, came out and was pretty good. I am an AVIS premium member, but I found Budget through Zuzuche, otherwise, I would have gone directly with AVIS.
