The car was of good quality and cleanliness. The process to collect the car is very poor . Most of the details were already submitted online or could have been. There is a very ancient amount of paperwork and being asked to put my email address on a scrap of paper was unbelievable - you already had that information at time of booking.

Booking was quite easy.

Although we bought extra insurance the desk for pick up still wanted us to buy additional cover.

Unfortunately the counter clerk was very new to job and didn't seem like he knew what he was doing having to constantly refer to other staff for advise. He was very pleasant and apologetic but after an early start we could have done without the long booking in process.

Do not hire they have lots of hiding charge i paid £29.90 for 3 days rental and paid 200 euro hiding charges and now trying to get back.

A very excessive wait to pick up the car despite having pre-booked it, around an hour and a half in total. Counter staff not apologetic about this at all, and kept wandering off with no explanation, both between customers and even while they were in the middle of serving me. I ended up paying 4 times as much as the original booking fee due to very well hidden small print and the counter staff not explaining the insurance process clearly in order to get me to pay extra. They make it sound like they will take over £1000 from you and won't return it for up to 60 days unless you pay £30. They pretty much don't give you any option except to pay the £30. I don't have much experience with hiring cars and despite trying to hold my ground I felt pushed into paying the extra.

The booking process itself was very easy but the fuel 'full to empty' policy was not made clear at all and ended up costing me more money that I originally paid for the car hire. Be careful about which fuel policy you use if you aren't used to booking hire cars like me. Take your time to read the small print.

The car was good but I spent 35+89 that I didn't expect. They haven't been so clear with me during booking reservation.

They claimed that they did not have a record of our booking, which added considerable time to the process of picking up the vehicle. Their counter staff were however very helpful rectifying this after we showed all the documentation we had confirming the booking.

Record claimed not to have details of our booking. A problem of communication with you? We showed emails etc and eventually it was sorted, but this added considerable time to the process

Record Car has too many hidden prices and honestly, I know Flex/Full policy means you pay the fuel tank in advance, but in my opinion they charge too much.

I was charged 29 Euros at the pick-up desk for "Service Charge" as they called it, which is never mentioned in my booking & never happened in any other car rentals as I've been a world traveler for years & frequently renting cars more than taking buses or taxis & I absolutely don't feel right for them to do it to me nor any of their clients unless it's agreed upon prior to any transactions. Easyrentcars should step in a reclaim the funds on behalf. Thanks!

Was told that I would receive an email and refund for fuel within 5 mins of returning the vehicle - nothing arrived and as a result I had to chase for an update and provide photos to sort it out, which was frustrating and detracted from the customer experience.

Car was a little tired although only about 40+k on log. But overall it was fine.

Have used Easyrentcars.com a number of times and always very pleased with service/staff - so thank you all.

lots of hassle on extra insurance also over charged on fuel even though returned car back with full tank. very dissapointed

Smal plastic cover on driver's door handle at the lock went missing during hire. At drop off I pointed this out and was told someone had tried to break in as he demonstrated that the door lock did not work. There didn't appear to be any damage and I only used the remote control to gain entry and for locking. Anyhow I was not in a position to argue and accepted the repair cost 444 euros. which is very steep. Thankfully I was able to claim the full cost through my excess car hire insurance I purchased separately before we travelled. Can't fault RecordGo as they did email the damage report to me to enable the insurance company to agree the claim.

I upgrade the car for 2 euro a day to a xtrail nissan

No comments, i already make a reservation for another car with easycar.

La voiture était très abimée. Il a fallu courir après le prestataire, qui n 'a jamais porté les corrections mais qui nous a dit que la voiture était abimée au retour. Que nous n'avions aucune preuve puisque nous n'avions pas pris de photos. Il m'ont prélevé 62€ forfaitaire pour un plein d'essence. Pour le moment je n'ai aucun remboursement

I did not get the Nissan X Trail and it took so long at the desk and finally the lady gave me the wrong booking just a mess.

The car was nice, I'd already bought insurance, online but the staff would not let me take the vehicle full stop, didn't matter if I'd have purchased the car from them, wouldn't allow me to take the car will definitely not use this company again I fly to Spain at least ten times a year one un happy customer

La voiture était parfaite, quasi neuve, propre, facile à conduire, les indications bonnes.

Had a really bad experience - arrived at 7:30 pm and was told we could not use our reservation as it was for 10 pm. I was jet lagged and exhausted . The lady seemed very friendly and told me she can get us another good deal for just a bit more. I didn’t realize that the quote she gave was daily versus weekly and we signed , our mistake. I felt deceived as the car ended up very expensive, way more than I ever would have booked. Also, they have a bizarre rule- every 2000 km they have to have the car inspected on site, which makes a long trip pretty inconvenient. And, if you are even one hour late for arranged drop off, they charge 40 euros. Our least favorite car rental company ever.
