Routes was easy to deal with. People were helpful and friendly and I would definitely rent from them next year when I am back. I love the car I had and it exceeded my expectations.

Car was perfect and practically brand new. Service was excellent - no hard sell for extra insurance was appreciated. Drop off was straight forward - all staff friendly and polite.

Girls on the front desk they need to be polite with clients. Terrible front desk service.

The boss is very kind and the car that he gave us was luxury and a really god car, I was loved driving it!!

Location was just a bit hidden but overall it was good. still waiting for the 500 cad deposit to clear.

They really need to organize their offic, they were going back and forth into the back office. The agent took a phone call while checking me in, they need one person answering calls. When I checked out, the woman seemed to helping multiple customers at one time. After we return the car, most of us are going to the airport for our flight home. They really need to organize and delegate duties.

Routes car rental is a group of people who have absolutely no Interest in customer service. They are rude beyond belief. I was there for 2 hours and witnessed 4 different parties having problems and all 4 turned away and went to a different rental company. Just do not under any circumstance go here

Very weird business, very short staffed and poorly organized. A lot of people on both visits were basically panicking by how bad it was.

The upgrade was fantastic and appreciated! The check in process was a little lengthy due to the business and what looked to be a new location and set up. We’ve rented via Routes many times and will continue to do so.

When I was booking, I was not aware that they are not at the airport. After arriving the airport, I was confused on how to get to the pick-up location. I called their customer service and nobody answered. So I used Google map, and used the sky train and walked a bit to get there. Over all, the rental price is cheaper so it's still worthy to me, but I hope that the customer can be introduced about how to get to the pick-up location smoothly when they arrive at the airport.

Shuttle was too small to accommodate all customers so we were left on the curb with a baby. That said, the staff were friendly and accommodating. Price was very good.

KIA vehicle has some problem when it climbed high degree road. It was not much power to uphill.

Almost everything was ok, except after we drop-off the car we received an email charging us more money because the mileage... So, we had to call them and ask for the inconvenience. Our car details included almost 1200km per day, thing that we didn't do at all. After talk with 2 employees of Routes they told us that was a mistake and we don't have to pay more. But that's not good, try to make people to pay more, and for sure some people does for not having problems. But make a mistake lying to the customer it's not fair at all. We finished quite unhappy because of that.

Routes were experiencing some difficulties with their wifi system when I was scheduled to pick up. They were still friendly and professional. I needed to extend my rental by an extra day...it would have been nice to maybe have had a discount for the inconvenience at the pick up (1 hour wait to get the system sorted).

No problems. Everything was easy..just like the name says.

The shuttle from the airport was a horrendous THREE HOUR experience due to mainly traffic. Once at the Routes office yet another agonizing 50 minute wait due to inconsiderate and inexperienced staff. After 35 minutes to get through the sign-in, the pre-inspection found the vehicle was NOT clean and ready, the lot jockey collided with another vehicle in their lot rushing it over to the cleaning bay. Another vehicle was brought in, NOT clean, so we had another 15 minute wait to finally get our “not to clean” vehicle ! This four hour + fiasco set us nicely into Vancouver rush hour traffic which was not in my plans considering we landed at YVR at at 12:45pm

The airport staff were pretty good.

Attente très longue au ramassage de la voiture... On a demandé intermédiaire pour avoir de l’espace de rangement et on a reçu Kia Soûl qui n’a vraiment pas beaucoup d’espace dans le coffre arrière. De plus, dès notre arrivée, on a mentionné vouloir garder la voiture une journée supplémentaire. Le préposé au guichet nous a dit qu’on devait seulement aviser la dernière journée et qu’il chargerait le prix en vigueur à ce moment. Il n’y avait pas moyen d’ajouter une journée au même tarif de location que ma réservation. Au final, il m’en a coûté 88$ la période supplémentaire d'environ 9h que j’ai gardé la voiture (mon tarif location était de 55$/jour)... C’est du vol selon moi ! Points positifs: les voitures sont propres et le retour très rapide.

The shuttle service from Vancouver airport to Routes was not good. I called 3 times over the course of an hour to ask about when a shuttle vehicle would be coming. When it finally arrived there was a large crowd needing a ride to Routes and only a small vehicle able to carry maximum 4-5 people. It was difficult to figure out who was there first. You need more frequent shuttles based on your bookings and bigger shuttle vehicles to accommodate more than a single person per booking.

Very poor customer service, no managers on site, no honesty, no care.
