The car rental company didn't recognize the international driver's license provided by Zuzuche, and we were stuck for half an hour. Luckily, I had a notarized translation prepared, but then they said it wasn't recognized because it was from a Hong Kong notary. They claimed that Hong Kong is Hong Kong and mainland China is mainland China, despite the first page of the document clearly stating that the legal effect applies to both. Eventually, after requesting the supervisor and waiting for more than half an hour, I managed to persuade them. This was the most disappointing part of the trip. Zuzuche and the rental company should ensure mutual recognition before confirming orders. Fortunately, I had prepared the notarized document just in case. However, being lectured about the difference between Hong Kong and mainland China in a foreign country was absurd and nauseating.

awful service and long wait, 3hrs in all in hot sun 39/40 degrees no shade. needed to get a bigger car that took a minute to sort but cost me another 613.00 on top of the £143.00 I had already paid. we had to pay it otherwise we didn't get the car. £300 of that was deposit which I am supposed to get back I am still waiting for it ???? Terrible service would not use or recommend this company again only used them because they were great in Sicilly

Long wait to collect vehicle

The customer service was excellent, though at the airport in Catania where to pick up the car was not at all clear and we ended up waiting over two hours to pick up the car which was a bit of a nightmare.

We had to wait over on hour at the pick up because the two members of staff were dealing with the same customer who took an hour or so to book a car

Horrible staff, very rude. Car also provided to us over an hour late, no offer of an alternative without having to pay more than our original booking value on top of our original booking. Never again. Do not recommend.

Car scratched at pick up. No floor mats. Nobody from customer service on pick up location. We received other car than booked (fiat 500x), at least this was better car, and we were happy cause of this.

Waited forever at the check in counter and the staff was not very friendly

Great booking platform! Super easy and great value.

1) The car while booking said medium SUV. However it was a large size SUV. Parking is sometimes challenging in Italy. Ford Kuga shouldn’t be considered as small or mid size. It is a full sized SUV. 2) The experience with Insurance was BAD. While booking it said the full insurance was covered then while picking up the car I was shown different * that said it doesn’t cover full damage.

Not particular to Scicily but the pick up process should be quicker if all the conditions have been pre-agreed on line

The collection took about 90 minutes, just to get through the queue - for which you had to take a ticket to reserve your place - although this was not immediately obvious. There must be a simpler and more efficient way in which to book people into cars than the systems used here - it took about 20 minutes per car - horrendous!

Plus de 2h d’attente pour récupérer la voiture, après 30min de recherche pour comprendre qu’ils ne sont pas au terminal comme annoncé. Toutefois rien à dire sur l’agence que ça soit pour récupérer ou rendre la voiture, ils ont été professionnels.

The Car was good for the price. Staff was very nice. The only bad thing was aggressiv Moskitos at the Pickup in the evening.

I would like to have the filter option "in terminal" on the Computer website Like in the Mobile Site.
